Our mission is to unite Black podcast creatives and professionals committed to redefining the podcast landscape and establish a foundation that fully supports our creative voices, respects our brands, and aligns with our core values, as we share engaging content with the world.
Simply put, representation matters.
Historically, black communities have played key roles in the creation, development, and adoption of various media industries. However, this has not translated into us benefiting financially or collectively from that work.
Corey Gumbs is the founder of the Black Podcasters Association and has been an avid advocate for the alliance of black creatives in the podcasting space. His alignment with Afro's and Audios founder Talib Jasir has been a union that has made tremendous strides in unifying those black creatives in the podcasting landscape.

Today is the 27th anniversary of the Million man march/Holy day of atonement. I was there on the wonderful day in Washington DC 27 years ago and was absolutely blown away at what I saw and felt. Black men from all across the country came in solidarity to hear inspiring words and to receive instructions moving forward on we we as black men should be doing. In this episode, I lift some key speakers before hearing the voice and lecture from the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

There's a question that has been floating around that's been very controversial.
What do you bring to the table?
Many people have been asking this question seeking to find some answers or trying to establish that they already posses certain items that can be looked at as substantive before pursuing a relationship.
This has been a very divisive conversation and has drawn a line in the sand between both men and women as they try to struggle with the importance of what should make a good relationship work.

The one thing that the Pandemic has taught many of us is that our Jobs are fragile. You can give your all to your job, career, etc only to be one occurrence away from being unemployed.
Self Independence is the bedrock of true freedom which, is something that a Job cannot offer with these right-to-work laws, no one is truly safe from being let go from our place of employment.
The black community must begin spending money in the black community to build economic wealth and build institutions that reflect the greatness of our intelligence.
