On this episode we cross the border into the U.S. as we chat with Comedian Chip Ambrogio from New Jersey.  In this conversation we talk about how he got into the comedy business, and how he has been able to make a living at it.  We found this bio on his site, it will give you an idea of what to expect in this episode: "I'm a stand-up comic and comedy writer, who has written for the Friar's roasts and also did a couple of essays on the Industrial Revolution. My likes are chainsaws and daisies. I'm frightened by pigeons and was once forced to tap dance at gunpoint. I believe you get out of life what you put into it; so I do nothing. I'm a born again atheist and respected Elder at The Church of Rainbows and Unicorns." This was not only interesting and information but also hilarious!!! We spent an afternoon with our friend and Halifax Real Estate Agent James Dwyer. We took him on one of our #XStreamTrips, and we had a lot of fun and we even took him to the local batting cages at www.the-warehouse.ca.  As we made the trip, we had some very interesting conversations in the car about the real estate business, social media and the challenges of being in business for yourself.    This is what you are about to hear on episode 001 of "Accountable" #CarChat. To find James, check out his website www.jamesdwyer.ca or he can be found on all of the socials! www.streamfinancial.ca #YourAccountingDepartment #Accountable

In this podcast we talk about a famous Warren Buffet quote: "Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked" In other words, you never know what is going on beneath the surface of your competitors. Stop comparing just focus on you, your family, your business and what you can control. #CFOforhire StreamFinancial.ca

When you are in business, the more time that you have to grow your business, the better. As a solopreneur, spending hours every week to send out invoices can easily be taken care of for you, especially if you have recurring invoices. Our recommendation for you is https://www.waveapps.com.
This tip is from one of our partners. We took Patty on our very first XTream Trip and along the way she shared some very kind words about what we do..but most importantly why what we do matters from a small business perspective.
