Jheqie's Bloggies

omg!!! I seriously need this! I just got married and wow, its definitely something different. I love the 3 P's and would apply that method whenever serious conversation happens. sometimes, we think properly during arguments after the actual arguments and all you can hear are apologies. so, I'll talk to my husband about the 3 P's. he's actually good at that but not me. lol! thanks guys! ❤ i use castbox btw. 😊

Jheqie's Bloggies Yes! My husband have gotten in the habit of remembering reactions are emotional and giving each other the pass. But stopping to remember we are human and breathing it out is an even better strategy!

I love this episode! I had no idea what to expect in the beginning and by the end I was in tears! I loved her advice on how to protect our energy and that it is spiritual inappropriate to feel other’s feelings, I tried this today at work, and instead of ending the day with a migraine and no energy, today I feel full of energy and no headache! Awesome episode ladies!

Melissa Monte Right I tend to feel the same way! But this week I’ve focused on taking care of myself and putting up spiritual boundaries, and my happiness and joy have been overflowing into other people’s lives! We’re of more service to people when we protect our own energy!

Steven Shipley So awesome Steven! That was my favorite part of the episode as well. “Spiritually inappropriate” really took away the guilt of feeling like I need to “over-empathize” sometimes. 😊

she said he's doing very well, yet he is dead. as if she has daily conversations with him. I think to myself, is she making up these visions and conversations due because they clear the trauma, or does she actually see and speak to her late husband? all in the realm of possibilities...

abubakr algabri Some things are hard to believe for us that have not experienced them, but it’s interesting because the longer I host this show the more accounts I hear of people interacting with the dead, so it’s definitely been changing my perception! I try to have as many less spiritual episodes as I do spiritual to keep it balanced. 😊

Exactly, so it's great to listen to podcasts you can relate to. Yes, well said! And thanks for replying. Exactly what I need to remind myself. Turning 'struggles' into 'facing your challenges' as uncomfortable as it is sometimes.. the universe gives back. ☺️ For topics of interest- hmmm good question- I'll comment back here when I think of something haha. Keep challenging yourself Melissa, youre doing great ✌️

These guests on the show and these podcasts in general are so helpful. They are the voice of how I feel sometimes and are the words I struggle to put together when I feel down. Sometimes I am struggling with my own self hate, worthlessness, and feeling isolated somedays. Not always.. by there are those days.. I like some of the advice in the podcasts about challenging yourself and facing your fears straight on because I too block myself from doing things or its like pulling the breaks when youre afraid of change. I look forward to these podcasts each week. And I love listening to other peoples stories. The way Melissa and other guests feel so good about themselves on where they are and what theyve achieved, and also helping others to reach something meaningful for themselves brings positivity to my day. 👍 Thanks all x

Leila Kirvan Hi Leila! It makes me so happy the podcast is bringing positivity to your day! We ALL struggle with what you mention. Even Arianna Huffington says she wakes up most days feeling like a fraud.. with all she’s achieved! I think the difference I’m finding the more I grow as a person... the more I challenge myself like you said... the more confidence I build in myself to tackle the next struggle. Because there will always be struggles, they will just be different kinds based on where you are on your journey. Every day brings a new challenge. But that’s just the thing. When you can reframe those struggles into challenges and start to see them as gifts from the universe to get you to the next level, then your whole outlook on life improves. 😘 if there are any topics you’d find particularly useful, let me know! All the love, Melissa

Such a great episode! I really needed to hear this talk of self worth! In addition to not speaking up because of a lack of self, I’ve also “faked” organism as a gay man (pretending it was in the condom and hoping he didn’t notice) or just giving up and saying I’m too tired or something. I’ve definitely struggled with the vulnerability in the bedroom and in relationships and it’s always great to hear affirmations of our worth!

Steven Shipley Is it weird that I’m somehow glad to hear this is more than just a women’s issue? But simultaneously sorry you had to experience it. I feel like it’s so disheartening. I cried on more than one occasion before I fully addressed it. Thank u for listening and adding your feedback! 😘

OMG.. why do people take this drug. :( I saw a lot of videos online where people overdose from this it and became zombies. I don't think I would give this breathing exercise a try, especially by myself. I think it's kinda scary. I might pass out. haha!
