In this episode we talk about some of our favorite vendors at Pike Place Market. We have been back at the market 4-5 days per week since mother's day and we have been getting to know some of our neighbors. This list is just the beginning- we haven't even talked about the t-shirts, wood workers, candles and fine jewelry! Thanks for giving it a listen. All our best from the great northwest. Cheers! Hi Folks! More specifically we just finished a short backpacking trip to the east fork of the Quinault River also referred to as Enchanted Valley. It does not disappoint! The temperate rainforests of Olympic National Park are one of the most bio diverse places in the world. My favorite are the Giant Douglas Fir trees 500 years old and more. This place is still wild. It transports you to another time. Join us for this fun episode!  --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jayne-simmons/support

Today we are discussing 3 topics on the willow tree. 1. A little about the tree itself. 2. Willow Tree Ancient Traditions 3. Medicine.  One of our favorite willow trees next to our house fell during our huge snow storm, so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do a podcast on this amazing tree.  Also, this is the first podcast episode in our new home studio. Any feedback would be most appreciated.... Enjoy!  --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jayne-simmons/support

We wish you a happy healthy new year! We're talking about an herb that indigenous people used for millennia. Black Cohosh was used mostly for women's health and especially around childbirth pms type symptoms, fibromyalgia and menopause.
