WE'RE ACTUALLY BACK! Like... in person!  The gang is vaxxed and back in the attic for the first time in over a year. First, Tom Wilson is dumb and the league is dumber. Then, what are the Rangers doing? Plus a very abridged and not very educated playoff preview.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast! Ian – @MaybeItsIan Kristen – @kristenthemums Trevor – @GoldsPersonal RabidHabs – @RabidHabs The Nosebleeds Podcast – @NosebleedsCast Stream OUCH! by Matt Watson!
The gang is back and the storylines to start the NHL season are good! First, A TRADE! Pierre-Luc Dubois is headed to Winnipeg and Patrik Laine is headed to Columbus. Who wins? How did we get here? Next, the Habs are good, Tyler Myers sucks, and the Department of Player Safety is a disaster.  To wrap things up, we've got some Rangers talk, some broadcast news, and how the NHL is handling the pandemic. Plus, the NWHL is back and you should support it! This is The Nosebleeds Podcast! The gang is back to explore the Hallmark Cinematic Universe! Immediately after watching the premiere of the new Hallmark original movie, Taking A Shot At Love, the gang analyzes what they saw. Is Coop a believable NHL player? What does Jenna get out of all of this? Why is the Stanley Cup Final in January? Is this just a two hour ad for Rangers merch? Are all hockey movies bad? 2020-10-3101:47:30

The gang is back and ready to get spooky! No hockey news in this one. Just some of our favorite memories of Halloween. What are our favorite and least favorite candies? Regrettable costumes? Who made Halloween special for you? Then we take your questions and discuss some of our favorite horror movies, NHL players as ghosts and cryptids, and even some theories about what happened to Casper the boy before he was Casper the ghost.  Also, Ian and his friends are starting something fun - The Hockey Newsletter! The back half sees the gang discuss Alex Pietrangelo's future in St. Louis, a conspiracy of championship proportions, questions from our loveliest listener, their favorite music, and some games they've been playing while hiding from a deadly virus.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!  Ian – @MaybeItsIan Kristen – @kristenthemums Trevor – @GoldsPersonal RabidHabs – @RabidHabs The Nosebleeds Podcast – @NosebleedsCast Stream OUCH! by Matt Watson!
Episode 54 - Big Meaty Team

Episode 54 - Big Meaty Team

2020-08-0101:51:44

The gang is back and so is hockey... wait, really? Where Major League Baseball has failed, hockey and basketball seem to have succeeded, at least for now. And because of that, we get hockey again! But, the NHL drops the ball once again when it comes to speaking out in favor of the Black Lives Matter movement. We have a lot to say there... Come for the commentary, stay for the predictions! The gang breaks down every qualifying round match up with predictions for the series and picks some Stanley Cup winners.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast! We're back! The gang (virtually) emerges from their quarantined hibernation to bring you some fresh content. First, they break down the first phase of the draft lottery that saw Team E win the first overall pick. Is this a good thing? Does the lottery format need to be tweaked? Then they discuss the return to play plan as a whole. Do our teams have a chance? Would you rather win or have a chance at the first overall pick? To wrap things up, the gang rips of "Wonderful" by talking about the things they are enjoying most during these uncertain times. Items include cartoons, wiffle ball, and You Tube channels. We hope you are staying safe and happy. We hope to be able to bring this podcast to you more frequently in the future.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast! The Tale of Taro

The Tale of Taro

2020-04-2131:58

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programing for a special report.  Hockey fans have probably heard of the fake Buffalo Sabres' draft pick, Taro Tsujimoto, but the story is even deeper than a prank pulled by a PR guy. It's the story of a secret draft caused by paranoia; of a general manager tired of bureaucracy; and yes, of a guy that just loved playing pranks on people.  Join Ian as he tells the story of Taro Tsujimoto from beginning to end.  All music was legally obtained from FreeSound.org and fall under the Creative Commons Zero License.  You can find Paul Wieland's book by clicking here.
It's the Trade Deadline! Well, it was. And the gang is back to talk about it in the first ever crossover episode. Along with Zach Vanasse of The Montreal Bias fame, the gang picked some of their favorite trades, some that didn't make a ton of sense and which teams didn't do a lot. And what the hell to General Managers do all day? Plus, an in depth look at he busy day for the New York Rangers and where their franchise is headed.  Oh and Ian yells about the Habs some more.  This is The Nosebleeds (and The Montreal Bias) Podcast!
The gang is back and hopefully for good this time! First, some trades! Zucker heads to Pittsburgh, Galchenyuk heads to Minnesota, and the Leafs get a goalie. What's the rest of the market look like? Speaking of goalies, the Rangers have three of them and there needs to be a plan for them after this season.  Plus, Ian yells about the Habs again and the gang plays Two Foods and a Lie.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
The gang is back for the first time in 2020! First, some random, already out of date news. Ian and Trevor went to a Ranger game and had a good time. Then, Tie Domi said nice things about women's hockey and it's a conflicting feeling.  Finally, Ian has a meltdown about the state of the Montreal Canadiens.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
The gang is back with a milestone episode! With 49 episodes in the books, Kristen, Trevor, and Ian are joined by the man known in hockey circles as "Fork" and on Twitter as @hockeenight for their 50th episode! We're not even sure what we should put here. Every minute of this is spectacular. Just listen to the episode. And for the the love of god, please realize it is explicit.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
The gang is back and there is absolutely no news. None. Not even one story.  Okay, so there's news.  First, a new beginning; Ian and Kristen are engaged and they talk about the struggles of controlling the message of your own engagement.  Then, an end. Mike Babcock's time in Toronto is up. There's a lot to unpack with this one. Is spitting worse than elbowing? When should the whistle blow for injured players? Finally, the gang breaks down the stars and duds of the Thanksgiving table and puts the cereal mascots in a fight to the death.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast! Episode 48 - Stroin Groin

2019-11-1501:35:32

The gang is back after some technical difficulties. Shocking, we know! But there's plenty to talk about. Don Cherry is Done Cherry. Hilary Knight said some stuff. The Astros are cheaters. And we take some questions from you guys! This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
We're back and so is hockey! The gang jumps back behind the mic after the first week of the 2019-20 NHL season! Trevor went to the Rangers' home opener and walked away with some cash. We break down the start to the Rangers' season and the Habs' season, as both teams are off to good starts. The Jets might be screwed without Dustin Byfuglien. Are we able to believe in Florida? Plus, some other way too early overreactions! This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
The gang is back, and if you're wearing headphones, you might want to turn them down. A little loud this week.  Anyway, the gang opens with the Auston Matthews saga and what we should be taking away from it. Then, some RFA signings took place, leaving only two RFAs unsigned.  As this is the last show before the season starts, Kristen, Trevor, and Ian breakdown their predictions for the NHL season, including their Stanley Cup predictions.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
Episode 45 - Buzz

Episode 45 - Buzz

2019-09-1801:06:41

The gang is back and Mitch Marner finally did the damn thing. So did Travis Konecny, Brock Boeser and others. Plus, the NHLPA decided against opening the CBA which is great news for everyone.  There's some more jersey talk, some NHL 20 talk and some more nonsense.  This is The Nosebleeds Podcast!
