Description

Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of true stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. Moth storytellers stand alone, under a spotlight, with only a microphone and a roomful of strangers. The storyteller and the audience embark on a high-wire act of shared experience which is both terrifying and exhilarating. Since 2008, The Moth podcast has featured many of our favorite stories told live on Moth stages around the country. For information on all of our programs and live events, visit themoth.org.

Jamie ruined a humans life because she was scared. (I agree she did not respond appropriately). I feel it would have been better to make people more HIV aware not bite back at them :(

Tabitha Fae Lisa should never have told Michael that Jamie is HIV positive.

Tabitha Fae I'm sure the dental assistant could have done her job without violating HIPPA. He didn't sue her for being weird about his HIV status, he sued her for violating doctor-patient confidentiality.

I'm glad this was said. I've read and heard that she kept meds from her patients because she believed that suffering moved people closer to god. There are many stories like that each more cruel than the last.

Why half bleep out "oral sex" lol? Is this a mature podcast or getting caught up in some puritan hangovers there?
