Loving the people who suck the life out of you. They drain your joy, eat up your time, and rain on your parade, but there’s a better way to deal with Relational Vampires than stakes, garlic, and pitchforks. There are some people that just seem to suck the life out of us. Some are endlessly needy; others complain. Some you can’t trust because they’re manipulative, or just hypocrites. We know we’re supposed to love them, but honestly, sometimes it’s just plain difficult. In this series, we’ll be putting a name to this type of person: Relational Vampires. We’ll recognize that these people are all around us draining our energy, and that it’s easy to fall under their spell and become vampires ourselves. Instead of running from or fighting with these vampires, though, we will learn how God can use us to bring love into their lives.

A special Memorial Day weekend message on Hebrews 12.
God can change our lives through the renewing of our minds. Come to Christ Church this spring and learn how to transform your life by setting personal goals, discovering simple steps to grow closer to God, being challenged to use the Bible to learn how to view and use money, and being challenged to not conform to the ways of world, but to seek God's perspective when it comes to what defines true success. Romans 12:1-2

During our 2022 Lenten Journey to Easter we'll take a look at moments throughout scripture in which a meal with Jesus ends up being so much more… not just food for the body, but also food for the soul.
