We got another special episode this week. As some may know, I normally do my The Catch-Up segment as part of the episodes. But this week I was joined by HPG's very own Marcus "ShowinmadLov" Robinson to talk about Three 6 Mafia and their classic album,  When The Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1.  Me and Marcus had a good one just talking about DMV upbringings, Three 6's albums, the Hypnotize Minds catalog and more. So sit back and enjoy this episode as we dig into the album for this very special The Catch-Up/Three 6 Mafia themed episode (YEAH HOE!) BRING DA MUTHAF*CKIN' RUCKUS! It's a very special episode of CTS this week and what better to talk about for the 36th episode than the legendary Shaolin Masters from Staten Island, NY: WU-TANG CLAN. I was ever so fortunate to witness all members come together and perform the hip hop classic, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), in it's entirety along with other great hits and I'm gonna share my full experience with you (1:31:15).  This entire episode is dedicated to one of my fav (if not my top fav) rap groups ever. So we're talking nothing but Wu from 'which Wu affiliate would you make an official clan member' (19:30), my personal favorite Wu album (36:20), my ranking of the members (40:30), their Top 10 solo albums (55:19) to even recent news involving the clan (1:08:58) and tours they have going on (1:27:00). So sit back, relax (don't smile) and throw your W's up. Finally got to see one of my favorite live bands! Listen to my recap this episode of seeing Dave Matthews Band on their fall tour (51:51). Of course I gotta give my take on a few minor things such as R. Kelly's arrest (9:50) and the whole "Ja Rule fiasco" (16:00). Come along, boys and girls! We're about to take a trip to ASTROWORLD: a fun filled experience full of bass heavy beats, trap rappers, moshing and hype beasts youth. Join me as I recap my personal experience at Travis Scott's latest tour (49:38). But also, we continue with the next installment to The Catch-Up series with my review of the Three 6 Mafia sub group, Tear Da Club Up Thugs, and their album "CrazyNDaLazDayz" (9:05). Well this was a bit of tough review to do. Bare with me this episode as I try my best to review a concert that was SOMEWHAT out of my element. Listen to my "complicated" but entertaining experience seeing Josh Groban (and the amazing Idina Menzel) on tour in support of Groban's recent album, "Bridges" (56:42). Of course, I also give my take on a few recent topics in music such as the whole 21 Savage/ICE situation (13:18) and the sexual assault allegations against singer/songwriter, Ryan Adams (28:06).  Also trying something new by letting you know about some recent tour announcements (41:10). BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! This episode is pretty straightforward. I recap (recapage) my second time seeing one of my all time favorite punk bands, The Descendents, live (31:25). Along with the continuation of The Catch-Up series with my review of Three 6 Mafia's third album, Chapter 2: World Domination (8:30).  Support the Hyphen Podcast Group on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/hyphenpodcastgroup Follow me so you can keep up with episodes and more on my Twitter & Instagram : @ghostdawgydawg     --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/snamp/message
If you're a loyal listener to the show and a member of the "Skeleton Clique" then this episode might excite you. A few months ago, ya boy was fortunate enough to see twenty one pilots live on tour in support of their latest album, "Trench". How are 2 guys able to pull off an arena rock show? Listen to my review to find out (36:36).  Along with that, I get into a couple things going on in music at the moment regarding Tekashi69"s case and artists like Tory Lanez making bold statements they can't backup (11:05). I also give a quick update on how things will now go with The Catch-Up segment from now on (8:40). A pretty simple episode I have laid out this week. Since I didn't do last week's installment, I catch up on The Catch-Up segment by reviewing Three 6 Mafia's second album, "Chapter 1: The End" (4:35).  Then I spend the rest of the episode practically ranting about why I don't like modern pop music as much anymore as I try to give somewhat of a decent review of my city's Jingle Ball concert from back in December (24:30). NOTE: Apologies if this is a more negative episode. Kinda rough to review a show of artists you're not really keen on and have seen before. Either way, I hope you find some enjoyment out of my displeasure this episode.   Follow me so you can keep up with episodes and more on my Twitter & Instagram : @ghostdawgydawg  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/snamp/message
If you listened to my "Top 10 Artists I Must See Live" episode then you may think this one is "special"....or that I'm just "paranoid...or complicated" (alright, you get what I'm going for). But this episode is special because I did finally get to witness a band I put on that top 10 list, Garbage. Got to finally see them on the 20th anniversary tour for my favorite album of their's, "Version 2.0". Was it well worth the wait? Why don't you just listen to find out (36:45).  But before that, I also give my opinion on a few topics ranging from the backlash of the recent Gillette commercial to Ariana Grande's current controversy to even Lil Uzi Vert apparently quitting music (5:00).   Follow me so you can keep up with episodes and more on my Twitter & Instagram : @ghostdawgydawg    --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/snamp/message
I'm bringing sexy back just for this episode to talk about my first new concert of the year after seeing one of my personal favorite artists, Justin Timberlake. Brace yourself for this one as I do go off on a few tangents regarding Prince impersonating openers, drunk white women and my personal criticisms of JT's latest album and song selections while sharing my experience of his show overall (39:50). We also bring back The Catch-Up segment! This time kicking it off with the 1995 rap classic "Mystic Stylez" as I begin my voyage through the legendary Three 6 Mafia's catalog for this run of The Catch-Up (14:45). I also briefly give my opinion on the whole recent hot topic that is "Surviving R. Kelly" series (3:25).  Follow me so you can keep up with episodes and more on my Twitter & Instagram : @ghostdawgydawg   --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/snamp/message
I'M BACK LIKE A VERTEBRAE! After a small holiday break, the show is back (for "season 2") to start 2019 off on the right foot with a new episode of me counting down my top 10 favorite concerts I got to see and experience in 2018. If you've been a loyal listener so far then you may know which shows from past episodes to expect on this list, but there are couple I have yet to release as episodes that may surprise you (51:00).  On top of that, I share my personal 'end of the year' lists of some of my favorite albums and EP's from 2018 in hip hop, rock and in general (10:45). NOTE: Apologies for the audio issues and noises you may hear in this episode. I wanted to try out some new equipment for this episode.  Follow me so you can keep up with episodes and more on my Twitter & Instagram : @ghostdawgydawg  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/snamp/message

Just in time for the holidays, it's the LAST EPISODE of the year! To conclude a nice first season, I try to catch up on all the recent news within the music world that's been going on for the last few weeks such as: the arrest of controversial rapper Tekashi69 to the divorce of Cardi B and Migos member, Offset, to even this whole "King of R&B" discussion that happened this past week (7:20). And of course, we get into our main part of the show where I'll share my experience and review at J. Cole's KOD Tour with Young Thug, Jaden Smith and EarthGang (50:50). Hope you enjoy this episode to hold you over until "season 2" in 2019. And of course, have a Happy Holidays!
