Interesting...E-scooters, quite possibly the worst thing on the roads today...Hey, the Leafs won a game! That's right, one game. He hasn't posed for a selfie in a while...NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh plans to vote against the Throne Speech, while the Bloc Quebecois says they're okay with it; is this Bizarro World?...Santa Claus is coming to Toronto this Sunday!...Teachers prepare to work to rule...Leafs' star Auston Matthews settles his half-moon issue out of court, with perhaps the true cost being not getting to wear the "C".
Snow has arrived in Toronto! How long before the Federal PCs put out the 'Help Wanted' sign? Elizabeth May heads off to "greener" pastures. What's up with Willie Nylander? As the winter approaches, please remember the less fortunate who rely on food banks. The provincial government attempts a friendlier tone at Queen's Park...wonder how long that will last. Ontario students can no longer use cellphones in the classroom...do we really think kids do what we tell them?

PM Trudy is back in office...but maybe not for long! Maxime Bernier's new PPC party got shut out and now he's on the bread line...will Andy Scheer be far behind? The Raptors began their defense of the NBA title in style! Well not really, they beat the Pelicans...but who can't do that? Bombardier claims they lost a ton of dough making those fancy new streetcars for the TTC...had they delivered them on time maybe things could have been different...do you have a Presto card? Looks like you've been riding for free a lot...well done, Metrolinx! Hey Leafs, cut the swagger and put some wins up on the board already!
Will anybody likeable win this election? Highly improbable...but please do be sure to vote! Are these Leafs the real deal? Early signs say "maybe not"...Pinball Clemons has a Sisyphean task ahead of him. Will the election of Scheer further delay the Scarborough subway? Remember the St. Mike's sex scandal? Well, guess who's been served with a gigantic juicy lawsuit? Cannabis edibles are now legal but you still have to wait just a little bit for your munchies. Molson and HexoCorp are working on CBD-infused spring water...giving a new dimension to the term 'joint venture'!
So summer seems to be lurking...not a bad deal! Are you digging all the election promises? Don't forget that what's being promised will be funded by you! The Leafs hope to announce a team captain soon...keep your pants on, Auston! TTC streetcars get cameras...to take pictures of cars sneaking by open doors...I guess fare jumping is a smaller problem?? Boy it sure is weird that Premier Dougie is not campaigning for Andy Scheer. Will oil hit the $100/barrel mark? Because gas isn't already expensive enough!
Bianca gets a heroine's welcome in Mississauga! Remember when Premier Dougie told us Ontario was poorer than broke? Well, that wasn't exactly true...The Leafs suit up for another season...hey Nylander, take a cue from Marner next time! The provincial government has lost $42-million selling cannabis...and we all thought Dougie knew how to peddle...and then there's Justin's racist history (with apologies to Peter Green and Santana)...
Are you ready for an election?? Mayor Tory is on the election trail, flirting with all leaders for more money! Have you TIFFed yet? Seems to be a thing. Are you still celebrating Bianca Andreescu? Feels like a party with no ending! Female hockey refs...get ready, the day is coming and really, why the hell not? The Leafs have opened training camp...but there seems to be one piece missing...has anybody seen Mr. Marner?
Will you be watching Bianca on Saturday? School support staff threaten to strike...your move, Premier Dougie! Will the T.O. condo market ever fall? The Green Party eclipses the NDP! It's Labour Day weekend...so named because we all go back to work the following day! They say the Carbon Tax will kill jobs...but where's the proof? Premier Dougie wants to do something about gun violence in Toronto...but he did change his mind on autism, education, greenbelt, et cetera. Why is this pot shop lottery even a thing? What's wrong with free-market economics...open a pot shop, if you have customers you stay in business...what a concept! Federal PC Leader Andy Scheer is haunted by a clip from 2005...remember kids, the internet lives forever!
Welcome to August...is it hockey season yet? TTC workers are concerned about air quality in the subway and want to wear masks...hey what about us passengers? PM Trudy offers pot pardons! Toronto wants special traffic agents to direct traffic during rush hour...so they'd be out there 24/7? Finally Premier Dougie is building a subway...but we're not sure about where it will start, where it will end, or how many people will use it...who cares let's start digging!
Hot enough for ya?? Hooray for the new air travel passenger protection rules...do you think the airlines will abide by them? Chinese gumballs set off metal detectors?? Mayor Tory targets loud vehicles. Premier Dougie cancels his public cell phone...so much for "For The People", eh? I can't smoke in my car, text in my car, now I'm supposed to not eat behind the wheel? I guess I'll starve on my two hour commute across Eglinton!
Toronto's Bike Share program is expanding...I'm sure drivers are stoked! The Federal Liberals are way ahead in the polls...thanks Premier Dougie?! Bombardier is laying off workers...and you wonder why they're behind on the streetcar delivery? Need a lawyer...hit up your local Tory MPP office, given they've cut legal aid funding! And goodbye, Kawhi, thanks for everything! Meanwhile, what's happening with the Marner situation?! Anybody know??
Boy oh boy the Argos are off to a terrible start! Toronto Police issued 800 tickets in one week to aggressive drivers...can we get on to the aggressive cyclists now? Are you exhausted by Kawhi-watch? Another Dean French appointment goes 'buh-bye'. The Federal Tories have a big bankroll for the fall election...now if only something could be done about their leader 'Andy'. Jobs are on the rise in Canada, but they may not be the job you want! More passengers stuck on a plane for hours in Hamilton...some folk just can not win!

Toronto's Raptor hangover continues...and Kawhi sightings in the GTA are up 1000%! Premier Dougie lays off 400 health care workers while also eliminating 400 posts that were vacant...why the hell were 400 positions vacant anyway? And Happy Pride everyone!
