Rise from Rock Bottom - 049
I’m really grateful for my life right now, but there’s no way I would be in this position right now, if it wasn’t for all that pain I endured. When you face challenges, you don’t just rise to where you were before life threw shit bricks at you. You usually rise above it… sometimes higher than you ever thought you would go.When you’re still dealing with the hardship, it can be hard to see the big picture… or any good that could come of it.But the truth is, our biggest challenges can be our greatest gifts. It just depends how you handle it.You can either let an obstacle stop you in your tracks… let the pain takeover. Or you can face them head on and try to find your way around them. Our guest today is Danette May. Leading Health Expert, and the founder of Mindful Health, LLC and The Rise movement. She’s a world renowned motivational speaker, #1 best-selling author of seven health and women empowerment books,Her rise began after losing her son during childbirth, getting divorced, and finding herself with $47 to her name. All one after the other. It was then that she decided to stop being a victim and rewrite her story. She transformed her life from having $47 to her name, to operating as a single mother, to owning a $20 million dollar business helping women around the world. She now has a following of people around the world. We will learn:- how to turn your mess into your message- how to find strength in our weakest moments- the science behind the woo woo like manifestation and money as energy Show notes: https://mindlove.com/049

Loneliness and Connection - 048
Loneliness is a real problem. Lonely people aren’t just sadder, they are actually unhealthier and they die younger.Loneliness raises stress levels, impedes sleep, and makes depression and anxiety worse. And the scariest part is, loneliness is becoming a bigger problem. Ironically, even though we’re more connected than we’ve ever been through technology, in the physical realm, we’re more disconnected than we’ve ever been.America’s suicide rate increased by 25% between 1999 and 2016.So if connecting people across the globe instantly isn’t helping our loneliness, what can we do?Today we talk to Teal Swan, author of several books including The Anatomy of Loneliness: How to Find Your Way Back to Connection. As a survivor of severe childhood abuse, Teal Swan knowns loneliness and depression. But to make things more interesting, she was also born with a range of extrasensory abilities, including clairvoyance, clairsentience, and clairaudience.Today she uses her extrasensory gifts as well as her own harrowing life experience to inspire millions of people towards authenticity, freedom and joy. Her worldwide success has earned her the nickname “The Catalyst. And at the end of this podcast I’m also going to address a little bit of controversy so stay tuned for that.Today we will learn:- What really causes loneliness- Why we push away people close to us- How to begin to find real and lasting connectionShow Notes: https://mindlove.com/048
Body Mindfulness for Stress and Emotional Strength - 045
This is one of those that is full of actionable tips that you can apply immediately to completely change how you feel in a specific situation. Our body will reflect our mood. We all know that our body will slump when we’re feeling defeated or we frown when we are sad, but there’s a lot of research that that can also be reversed… kind of like those times we fake sick at work or school and suddenly we wonder, wait why do I feel blah right now? Or faking a smile can uplift our spirits.Body awareness can help you change your mind and therefore your experience of life. We have the power and choice to improve our physical health, brain functioning, and energy levels, reduce stress, boost happiness, build emotional resilience, and basically improve our quality of life. Our guest today is bestselling author and psychologist Noa Belling. Noa holds a Masters degree in somatic psychology which is body/mind psychology, she has over a decade of teaching this stuff, she runs a private psychotherapy practice and she does talks and workshops as well. She’s also the author of a book called The Mindful Body which is a great book for those of us that like a very scientific approach to mindfulness.P.S. There are some audio glitches for some reason that I couldn’t quite fix so super sorry about that.Today we will learn:- Why and how to add intention to our bodies’ instincts- A ton a really simple but powerful body hacks to actually change our state of consciousness- How to use the body to identify personality types and better connect with peopleShow Notes: https://mindlove.com/045
Reconnect with your Body and Radiate your Sexual Essence - 040
Most of us, especially entrepreneurs have unbalanced feminine and masculine energy. We all need a balance of feminine energy, but over hundreds of years we’ve been taught feminine energy is weak. Those who have dealt with physical, sexual or emotional abuse are even more disconnected from our bodies. To explain how this happened, we need to learn the true history of women. It’s easy to believe women have been starting from the ground up, slowly claiming more and more power with voting rights and equal pay.But the truth is, Women had power. They were revered as mysterious, intuitive, powerful beings that could calm storms, predict future events and bring forth life through their bodies. But as political structures were formed, this unknown, mysterious power that women had became a threat and history was rewritten by those with physical strength. So many women are living in their masculine side, whether to keep up with the standards of a corporate environment, or we were physically or sexually abused, or we’re convinced our feminine nature is weak. And so many men don’t realize the balance of their feminine energy is critical to connect with intuition and empathy and to balance their power throughout their body.So today we’re going to learn about balancing our masculine and feminine energies, from the loins up.Our guest in Lani Nalu, a coach to female entrepreneurs. She lived through both sexual and domestic abuse. As she embraced her rock bottom, she experienced breakthroughs that led her to her highest purpose. Now she helps other women breakthrough the root of their pain to experience pure love and business success. We will learn:* Why a balance of masculine and feminine energy is critical to success in life and in business* How to connect to your personal power through thought* A powerful way to start each morning that connects you to your essence of pure love.

I'm on my journey to find my spiritual path and kinda stick on something that I love to do. I don't remember much of my childhood, so I really can't remember what I loved to do then. I really can't pinpoint what I love to do now... guess it will come to me when the times right. thanks for this Podcast it helps a lot. I listen at work when I'm doing mindless tasks and feel like I really soak it in :) you're awesome

Jessica Lee Nazelrod Thanks Jessica! I had a really hard time with that as well. One guest recommended finding something you’re curious about instead of putting the pressure to find out passion. I also emailed a bunch of people who knew me asking what they saw in me. Asking what I was good at. I’m actually working on a mini course to help people with this exact thing so will keep you posted. 😊

Sara Erin Hey Sara~ I greatly respect all races and do my part in promoting equality. I myself do not consider merely mentioning a hijab to be racist. However, I respect your opinion and in no way wish to be perceived as insensitive or disrespectful. Therefore, I’ve removed that comment from the show. Thanks for bringing this up to me and for your understanding as I learn and grow on this public platform. 😊 I’m doing the best I can with what I know at the time.

I've listened to a few podcast shows lately that have interviewed others about ayurveda. This one was, by far, the most informative. I listen to your show every day. Keep up the fun learning!

Thank you for this interview. I refuse to label myself because I cannot fully identify with Male or female. I'm married to a woman and have always felt more comfortable with and attracted to women. I'm on a mission to stop the labels and lead this world to living in a place of love constantly. Though I do not identify fully, I completely love and respect the transgender community. Thank you for interviewing and loving all walks of life! Mind Love is changing the world, one podcast at a time!
