Description

In the Castbox Original, Sh*t They Don’t Tell You, Nikki Limo and Steve Greene will do a deep dive into common relatable topics that either they or their guests wish someone would have told them more about before they had to learn it the hard way.
These subjects can cover just about anything (Relationships, Finances, Travel, Mental Health, etc), and really dig into society’s expectation vs. the reality of it all. Each episode will be conversational and fun, and offer a balance of comedic insight, opinions and theories, as well as some researched material to bounce off of.
Guests can range from YouTubers, celebrities, as well as experts in particular fields corresponding to their specific topics.

This is the first episode I've listened to. I liked the episode overall. However it makes me so thankful I don't date monogamous people anymore. I'm going to listen to more. keep up the good work.

Even though I may be a little young for this, I still enjoy the casual and humorous conversation!! I love this podcast and wish there were more episodes.

not only is it hard to buy a house in hella expensive places like CA & NY but also if you're in a college/university town. then you're competing with landlords who have all the cash & want the house to rent it out. luckily (depending on your definition of the word luck) I found a house that was CONDEMNED partially due to the drunk who was evicted but also due to damage from a fire that occured next door. however it was in my dream neighborhood & no landlord wanted to touch it with a 10ft pole! when I started house hunting to when I bought my broke ass house I was out bid the SAME DAY a listing went up on a new house well over 35 times. all of that took place within a year. so for all you poor people like me who don't mind doing a whole lotta work - find yourself a major fixer upper b/c my neighbor sold his house for $120k and I bought mine for well under 1/3 of that. THERE IS HOPE!! sometimes. not often. but rarely. house hunting sucks but I'm glad I did it.

agreed. I am buying a house(first time homebuyers) in So CA in the inland empire and I am wondering how people have 20% down ?!? my fiance' and I work regular 9-5 jobs. and it would take years to save 80k I'd be like 40 by the time i have that. cause obviously in my early 20s I didn't think about saving for a down payment on a house. now 10 years later finally get a full time job with decent pay and still have to use a down payment assistance program cause i literally be 40 years old by the time I save 20%. plus trying to get your offer accepted is a challenge. After 5 offers later it finally got accepted. thanks for this episode.

how Nikki described feeling suicidal is spot on for me (minus the trance). no one has ever described it so exactly! now its just always this thought lurking that they'd be better off w/o me.

Love your guys podcast! I listen to them when driving in the car! One favor I have is if you could make the podcasts a little louder, they are fine at home but in the car there is a lot of driving noise. And when I turn the stereo volume too high, I start hearing static. I don’t know if others have the same problem. Might be just me lol

Nikki you are awesome! it seems like you are on your way to creating an great progressive life for yourself but Steve is dragging you down. it's obvious in the episodes how he is ignored and pushed off when he says awkward things, unrelated comments etc. it seems like you are annoyed with him, and that he doesn't know when to and when not to say things. why would he express his subtle dislike for homosexuals by creating a joke out of them? on a podcast that thousands of people listen to... REALLY? Nikki you are smart creative and it seems like you aren't even married and he just annoys you with his awkwardness. most of the time when he is talking I'm cringing because I can't believe he says the things he does.
