The Pagan Widow Podcast

Happy Yule everyone!!!I am so glad to finally have an show out for you!!  In this show I bring you up to date from when the time Mum passed away to where I am this Yule (2014)  This show is not perfect, I do a lot of rambling and going off script but I got kind of excited. I want to share something with you that I wrote this morning when I realized it was Yule.  Yeah... that's how much attention I have been paying attention lately.  This Yule, I am embracing the return of the Light into my life and into the world. It is has been 2 and a half years since Ed passed away on the Summer Solstice of 2012. Summer Solstice may be when the days start to get shorter as the sun moves away from us, but the light went out of my life complete that day. Today is the Winter Solstice 2014, the day we celebrate the return of the Sun as our days get longer. These 2.5 years of healing and learning have lead me here, to the cusp of an amazing life, with a wonderful man, in a beautiful location. I am looking forward to spending time with, taking care of, creating a home for and building a new life with Jim. He is a truly wonderful man and I am so lucky. After 15 years of me being out of state and all of us growing and changing, I am excited about being closer to family and getting to know them again and letting them to get to know me. I am excited to be closer to Ed's kids and hoping to get to know them better and watching the grandbabies grow! I have missed so much but I don't want to miss any more. I also can't wait to get to know Jim's fun family too! I am determined to start taking better care of myself. Honestly, I have not really cared about how I looked or about my health because I felt so bad on so many levels. The thought even went thru my mind, if I eat myself to death who is there left to care?  But now, I have a reason to live.I am excited about launching my business in 2015 by doing having booths at bike week and possibly local farmers markets on the weekends and working in my studio during the week. My hope for my friends and family in this coming year is that your lives are heading in the direction that you want and that you embrace the challenges and changes that life throws at you and use them to shape yourself into the person you have always wanted to be.May you fine Peace in the coming year my friends!!FeenixFeenix@thepaganwidowpodcast.wtf
