I do some patter about movie sequels, with a focus on why a sequel should exist. Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and El Camino go under the microscope.

We start our new season with a slight format shift: A thematic discussion of the unseen patterns in our mind. We hit on computer passwords, threats of Civil War, and Vaporwave. We drink beer. A good time is had by all.

This episode's Thumbs Down is the discontent we feel about Social Media, and how we need to find a way past it. The Thumb's Up is the unpredictable return of vinyl records as a format with economic viability.
I talk a bunch of smack about Disney's penchant for endless remakes, and defend a part of speech from malicious detractors. In the process, I say "blog" too much and mimic a landmark American author in the manner of a cartoon rooster.
After an unforeseen hiatus, Thumbs Down, Thumbs Up returns! We discuss the darkness in the American Political Climate as seen in the reactions to the March for Life incident, And we wax... poetic about the Poetry Foundation's app. No sponsor ship from the Poetry Foundation or anything, we just really like the app.

I solve the Oscars and celebrate the collapse of our political class.
Are you sick of Star Wars yet? I almost was, but now I'm devoting half an hour to some brief critiques and then joyous praise of the new episode.Contains the final refutation of the "Inner Child" Fallacy so beloved of Prequel apologists. The Nerd is Strong in this Episode.
For my inaugural episode, I grumble about a political meme that's been bugging me for a long time, then I praise Richard Dawkins for getting what free speech is really about.
