Description

If you don’t question what you believe in, then what is the point of believing in it?

The biggest challenge in the world today is that we surround ourselves with people who think just like us and it’s dangerous because we then think we are more right than we actually are and dismiss other people and their points of view. We have forgotten how to have conversations with people who disagree with us. This has to stop.

This show is designed to get you thinking about a different perspective. Be it prison reform, gender identification, time management, BDSM, parenting… the idea is to have you suspend your belief and perhaps consider the opposite.

5 Ways This Cop is Creating Influence & How You Can Too with Amy Boudreau on Domino Thinking with Alison DonagheyOoh.. I get to talk to a cop without the concern of having done something wrong! LOL.. just kidding… I have a bit of a soft spot for the ins and outs of the criminal justice system. I started at University with Criminology, worked at a federal halfway house and just recently had the privilege of volunteering at a men’s prison in Chowchilla California with Freedom to Choose. Early on though I realized it wasn’t the best industry for me... I have always been a better rule breaker than a rule enforcer, that having been said I am grateful that there are people who are in this industry and it is a good fit. Join me and Amy as we talk about her experience as a police office and how she is impacting the world around her. Amy Boudreau is a University of Windsor graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, has a minor in Criminology and Psychology,  and has spent the last nine years as a Police Constable with a specialty in Crime Prevention. She is known on social media as "The Yoga Cop" and is a writer and public speaker who advocates for first responder wellness, through the use of yoga and mindfulness meditation; crime prevention; evidence-based policing (EBP); law enforcement social media (LESM); and gender equity and inclusion, in an effort to evolve police culture.if you don’t question something what is the point of believing in it?
