In 2019 we held our first "Future of Support Raising" Conference in Chicago. The following talk was given by Barnabas Lin. Barnabas is on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and had been serving in the Chicago area.   Barnabas spoke about the need for empathy and proximity when it comes to pursuing the future of support raising.  In early 2019 we held the first Future of Support Raising conference at the Agape Center in Chicago. Over 100 ministry leaders from around the country gathered to explore together how we might make funding mission more equitable. For two days we learned, lamented, dialogued and dreamed for the future of support raising. This episode of the podcast is a recording from that conference.
