Well.... I got to geek out a bit with a very intelligent woman of business. Amelie Caron is the founder of Eco Synergy.  Amelie has been in the Construction, Energy Performance and Sustainability Industry for over sixteen years, spanning back to Quebec in 2001, with the EnerGuide for Homes program.   She is an Architect Technologist, and completed her Masters in Building Science from Danube University in Austria.  She is particularly skilled in creating and building cost effective, eco-friendly, high performing homes, multi-units and commercial buildings.  Listen to this podcast if you want to hear me struggle to keep up with the conversation. I Want 2 Know about movie makeup. Amanda Tozser is a local lady that has recently broken in to the movie industry as a makeup artist. She has done cosplay makeup for 9 years at the comic  book events in Calgary and area. We discussed everything from the long process of being accepted into the movie union, to the education required to be a makeup artist, we talked about parenting and bullying, we also covered the issue of domestic abuse in Airdrie. I Want 2 Know about Psychics, Mediums and Spiritual healing. After asking the great and mighty internet, I got a message from Christine Gold, 24K Healing. I was very skeptical about what and who Mediums were as people. I had the perception that Psychics were scammers that only wanted to take money from people that are hurting or lost. I did not get that feeling with Christine. I believe she is a very caring and intuitive person that wants to help people thought difficult times. She describes how she honed her skills with her mentor. We talked about how everyone has the ability to be more intuitive if they had the desire and practiced. She did not come across as mystical or all knowing. She came across as a person that is trying to better the world the way she knows how. We also discussed social standards for men and women, ancestry, ego and a few other topics. I definitely want to know more about her as she grows in her craft. I Want 2 Know how we are supporting abused women in my town. As it turns out I live in a town with one of the highest rates of domestic abuse in Canada.I had no Idea!!! It broke my heart to hear about the number of hurting families, right where I live. I ask Crystal Boys, Founder of Airdrie POWER (protecting our women with emergency resources), to come do the podcast and educate me. It was encouraging to know that we have people like Crystal that care enough to develop a program to support these families. I want 2 know smarter people. I met Andy a few weeks ago and knew he was intellectually gifted. You know when someone speaks and you can't help but listen. Andy Casali is one of those guys. I enjoy the sound of his voice and the words that he speaks. We discussed mentor-ship, fatherhood, literature and many more subjects. I Want 2 Know to know about other peoples religious upbringing. Karla Mayfield has a great story about growing up in the "Message" religion. She talks about how it controlled the way she thought and felt as an adult. How she was conflicted for a long time. Through a lot of self evaluation and counseling she has become a very successful business woman.  Spoiler alert!!! We had some technical difficulties during this podcast. Our computer crashed and we were unable to finish the podcast the way I like. It was very abrupt. Have a listen and try to be understanding.
