Description

Rod and Jessica Sanchez thought they had it all… A comfortable home, comfortable jobs, and a comfortable routine. The "American Dream" was theirs for the taking. But what if that dream didn’t turn out to be their dream? The more they worked, the less time they got to spend together. During their children’s most formative years, they’d be spending the majority of their time away from them. The more they thought about it, the less it made sense. Turns out, either they’re really impatient or they weren't made to live that kind of life to begin with. Because of this, they decided to sell everything, quit their jobs and travel the world as the Jetsetting Family.

cool thing to do, I can relate , and have travelled myself before and after kids and recently when they were in their 20s with a big move from NZ to UK...to grab an experience before too old lol, hey as a Kiwi, when you go to NZ I recommend Matapouri Bay and Whale Bay as most beautiful beaches on Coast out of Whangarei (North Island) and the Forgotten Highway in North Island..safe travels 🌠

You guys are awesome!!! I can vicariously live through you within your travels. I lived a very gypsy, nomadic style life in my younger years. I now daydream of bringing my family on some of those same adventures. I can't think of anything else that would build more character in your children, and bring your family closer together. Thank you for taking us (the listeners) along for the journey, safe travels!!! Lucas T

3rd 👁 Open Thanks Lucas, you really made our day with this comment! Traveling is really opening our kids to new cultures, people and experience, and even just a few weeks in we are already seeing them build character. We hope you get a chance to experience similar things with your family!

Cute podcast! cute family. I've listened to several podcasts about those who travel in RVs. where do you and the Walton family live? are you living in hotels all the time? also as a mother and grandmother my first thought when I heard the Walton family are expecting their next baby is, wait, stop! talk about how your working Dr visits/pre natal care and delivery while traveling the world.

deannerjones@msn.com Thank you for listening Deanne! We are from Colorado but are renting out our house while we travel so we technically live wherever we are at the time, haha! Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to cover the details of their pregnancy while traveling, but we do know they are heading back to Utah for the baby’s birth 🙂
