So go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to soften and relax.
PAUSE…
Find the waves of your breath,
And see if you can follow them in,
And out of your body.
In,
And out.
Inhale,
And exhale.
PAUSE…
Intentional living begins with you.
Your desires.
Your beliefs.
Your values.
PAUSE…
So take a moment to follow your breath in,
All the way in and down,
Into the center of you.
PAUSE…
And observe what’s here for a moment.

What is important to you?
How do you want to live?
Who do you want to be?
What do you desire?

Now, gather these all up,
As if you were gathering leaves from the branches of your tree.
Hold them close to you,
As you now ask yourself,
In what ways am I out of alignment, or not living within my values?
How can I make adjustments?
What can I do now to live in alignment with myself?

Your life is yours to create,
And it all starts with you and your intentions.

So settle yourself into comfort,
And allow your breath to slow you down.

Feel your mind begin to calm,
And your body begin to soften.
PAUSE…
Now, see if you can remember a time,
When your intention created your reality.
A time when you were very clear and focused,
On why and what you wanted.
A time when your purpose behind your actions,
Manifested into the world around you.
PAUSE…
Perhaps you had the intention to become friends with someone new.
Maybe you had intentions to work efficiently and effectively.
Perhaps you had intentions to spend more time with those you love.
PAUSE…
Think about one of these moments, small or big,
And see if you can see the connection between your intentions and the reality that took shape.

Our intention creates our reality.

So be here now,
Present to the power of your intentions.
Aware deeply in your mind, body and spirit,
That you have the ability to create your reality,
As you create your intentions.

So take a full breath all the way in,
Deep into your lungs,
And into your belly.
Becoming aware of the movement of the air as it fills you up.
And then slowly release it,
Exhaling all the way out until the last drop of air is gone.
Breathe in deeply again,
Your attention fully on the expansion of your body as it fills with oxygen,
And then breathe out,
Releasing the air,
Releasing the day,
And relaxing your body.
PAUSE…
Bring your breathing to a steady, soft rhythm,
Keeping your awareness in its gentle, natural movements.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Inhale,
Exhale.
LONG PAUSE...
Gather them all up,
Those pieces of fear,
Hiding in the crevices of your mind,
And the deep tissues of your body.
And call them forth,
Summoning them to your doors,
Acknowledging the pain,
And your decision to let it all go.
Your decision to breathe through the fear.
LONG PAUSE…
So come deep into your breath again,
And follow its movement in,
And then as you exhale,
Notice all those fears dissolving,
As the power of your breath breaks them down.
Breathe…

One grain at a time,
The fear dissolves as you breathe through it,
No matter how big,
No matter how hidden,
Your breath dissolves the fear.

Feel your body again as the fear releases it.
Feel your cheeks soften,
And your jaw release.
PAUSE...
Feel your shoulders lower,
And your chest open.
PAUSE...
Feel your arms get heavy,
And your hands relax.
PAUSE…
Feel your stomach soften,
Your back melt,
And your legs relax and release.
PAUSE…
Relax and release.

Breathe through the fear,
And release its hold on you.

Breathe through the fear,
And settle into the deep seas of love.

Notice the slow rising,
And falling,
Of your belly and chest.
Notice the cool air on your nose as you breathe in,
And the warm air on your nose as you breathe out.
Notice the soft sounds of the night,
Humming lightly in the background.
Be here,
And just breathe.
LONG PAUSE…
Now imagine a soft, indigo blue light,
Hovering just above your head.
See if you can feel its warmth,
Melting onto you,
And covering you with peace.
PAUSE…
Feel it gently cover and soften your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks,
And your lips.
Let your jaw release,
And drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Feel your entire face soften and relax.
PAUSE…
Imagine the indigo light falling gently,
Down your neck,
Covering your shoulders,
And traveling down your right arm,
And your left arm.
PAUSE…
Imagine the indigo light,
Pulling out the tension,
Releasing the stress,
And relaxing you deep,
Deep,
Into the night.
LONG PAUSE…
The soft glow of the indigo light,
Slowly moves down your body,
Blanketing your stomach,
And your hips.
You feel it streaming down your back,
From the top of your neck,
Down, down, down,
To the bottom of your spine.
Slowly relaxing you,
As you let go,
Release,
And allow your body to sink into the night.
LONG PAUSE…
The warm glow of the indigo light,
Descends down the expanse of your right leg,
Then your left leg,
Relaxing the thighs,
Your knees,
Your ankles,
And your feet.

Allow any remaining thoughts,
Worries,
Or emotions,
To float down,
Down,
Out of you,
Releasing themselves into the darkness,
And floating far,
Far away,
From you.

Feel your body softly hum,

So let yourself adjust a bit as you settle,
Bringing your body and your mind into this moment,
Deep in the heart of the now.
PAUSE…
Let your breath calm you down,
As you breathe in deeper with every inhale,
And breathe out longer with every exhale.
Slow down.
And be here.

And see if you can imagine that you’re holding something in your outstretched hand in front of you.
Your initial glance at it is hazy and you can’t quite tell what the object is.
So you come inside,
Deep into the heart of your soul,
Feeling the warmth of your home,
And take a deep breath in.
As you exhale, feel yourself surrender and relax into yourself,
Believing that connecting with your true self will bring clarity to the object in front of you.
PAUSE…
Now imagine yourself looking in front of you once again,
This time, your heart knows what you’re holding before your eyes see it with clarity.
And as your eyes drink in the shape of the object,
You feel any hesitations, doubts, fears and confusion dissolving within you.
You feel free.

Watch her swim,
Gliding through the water.
Majestic and carefree.

She moves with such grace,
With pure joy in the slow movement.

Feel your body sync with hers.
Slowing down with the big waves of the ocean.

A tiny drop of rain appears,
As her heart is slowly torn.
Anger and disappointment swirl.
Another drop of rain,
And then another,
Resentment pools behind her silence.
PAUSE…
Good intentions keep her moving,
Doing, organizing, managing,
Holding the world.
They look at Atlas,
And hand her more.
Oblivious to the strain,
Critiquing from the sidelines,
While their arms are empty.
PAUSE…
Make time for self-care, they say,
As if that lessens the load,
And fixes it all.
A downpour of rain.
Oceans of resentment.
LONG PAUSE…
A silent martyr,
Or a hero who’s suffered and evolved…
Which will she choose today?
PAUSE…
The raindrops have fallen before,
And they’ve taught her that oceans of resentment,
Will extinguish her light and energy,
Consume her,
Drown her.
PAUSE…
So Atlas stands,
Finds her voice inside,
And uses it to drain the ocean.
PAUSE…
She demands help,
Respect,
Love.
PAUSE…
She shares the weight,
And stops mumbling under her breath,
About the broken promises.
She trains the world how to handle her.

For she is bursting with love and care,
For every little thing.
She cradles the broken hearts in her arms,
Fixes the cracks no one sees,
And breathes love into the blades of grass.

It’s easy for the world to just let her.
To be confused by her ability to hold and give so much.

So she speaks.
And shares,
And instructs.
So the oceans of resentment evaporate.

And when raindrops trickle down again,
She knows to shake herself dry,

Bring your attention here,
To the movement of your breath.
Detach from those thoughts,
And feel your body’s depth.

The tighter you hold onto,
The emotions and the thoughts,
The heavier they get,
The more you feel like you’re lost.

So imagine that your breath takes you,
To the safe space of love in your heart.
This space that darkness can’t touch,
This beautiful, sacred part.

Feel the warmth in your chest,
The gentle hum of your light.
Let it remind you of who you are,
Let it comfort you tonight.

I know the thoughts are scary,
And the emotions keep swirling around.
I know they dance with each other,
And quickly compound.

So close your eyes and settle,
Allowing your body to drop into a place where you feel relaxed and alert.
Focus on your breath,
And with each breath out, let yourself release any residual emotions or thoughts that may still be lingering from yesterday.
Relax and release.

PAUSE…
Now shift your attention to your inbreath, and imagine that each time you breathe in, a light freshness infuses your body with energy.
Notice how it fills you,
Expands you,
Cleanses you.
Breathe…
PAUSE…
Surrender to this space of lightness, this space of freshness.
Feel the spaciousness it creates inside of you.
And allow your mind to be still,
Directing away any thoughts or emotions that desire entry into this precious space.
And just be here.
Allowing clarity to come to appear,
Instead of you seeking it out.
PAUSE…
If you desire clarity on anything in particular, go ahead and silently ask your question in this space, letting go of the need for an immediate answer.
And instead, just practice sitting in your calm place of stillness as your question marinates.
PAUSE…
For the next few minutes, allow yourself to simply be here, sitting in your space of stillness.
If thoughts or emotions come up, that’s okay.
Simply redirect them away from the doors of your special space.
Watch them go by as you bring yourself back to the stillness.

And invite your body to snuggle and settle deeply into your bed.
Close your eyes,
And open your senses.

Feel the soft layers of sheets and blankets around you as they caress your skin.
Taste the crisp air of the night,
As you drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth,
And relax your jaw.
Listen to the gentle rhythm of the raindrops outside,
And invite its symphony to heal you tonight.
Drop by drop.
Breathe…
And let your body relax even further into your bed.

The water heals,
And tonight she comes to you in millions of precious drops of rain,
Ready to touch your skin,
Soothe your heart,
And soften your mind.

Lucretius said that the fall of dropping water wears away the stone.
So breathe in,

Search for the stone,
Those places inside of you that may be hurting tonight,
