Wait a minute, there is such a thing as "ketchup shoes?" Well I'll be darned, that's a pretty (not) cool invention. This week, on World Mythology, it's Made Up Tales (or MUT for short). One story is by my friend Brick (or Bryce), and another I made up in the middle of night talking to my sister. You'll see why you should always make you instructions crystal clear, and how painting ketchup on the bottom of your shoes is the best idea EVER. Want to hear one of your stories on this podcast? Yup! I ate a magical fish, didn't heed its warning, and became a fish. This week, on World Mythology, it's a story from Spanish/Catalan Mythology. You'll see why you shouldn't eat a fish that's magical, and how you should definitely smack your forehead, as you will change into a different animal. If you left the door unlocked tonight, bad things might happen.... This week, on World Mythology, it's some Urban Legends! We'll see why you shouldn't just binge watch your favorite TV Show late into the night, and why you also shouldn't pick up that phone, because an evil psychopath might be on the other side. "Wait," you say. "You don't want to be pretty?" You heard right! I want to be UGLY. This week, on World Mythology, we'll be telling a story from Portuguese Folklore called "Linda Branca and her Mask." We'll see why being ugly might actually get you married to the king, and how you should totally remark about how some random ugly stranger is ugly, because it just might be your ticket to getting an ugly mask. Yes. Please please please don't eat me. I'm too... er... tough! Yeah, I'm definitely too tough. This week, on World Mythology, we're diving into some of the weird and wacky stories of Native American Mythology. You'll see why you shouldn't make an ash cake, and how being called "Thick-head," will actually help you out in the end. You know what? It's a great idea to steal a fairy's feathered robe that takes her to heaven! You know why? It's a way to get a wife! Just find a big ol' pond, and look for beautiful women. Then, steal one of their robes. Great idea. This week, on World Mythology, we're in Korean mythology with two tales. One is the Korean Cinderella, and the other is called "The Deer and the Woodcutter." Both of these stories are great! That doesn't make any sense. How does a rabbit become a princess? Oh wait, we're in folklore. So, an enchanted princess does make sense! This week, on World Mythology, we're telling a story from Brazilian Folklore, titled "The Most Beautiful Princess." We've Rebranded!

We've Rebranded!

2018-09-1600:34

I've rebranded from Myths and Stories (though you can totally listen to the older episodes) to World Mythology! I thought that it would be soooo cool if I told stories from around the world, and not just from Greek Mythology. Greek Mythology is widespread and known that I thought maybe I should tell some other stories that are not as widespread. So, join me as we make a fresh start into many, many different stories.
Today on Myths and Stories, we bring to you: Perseus has a TERRIBLE grandfather! But the thing is, he really does! Ep 5: Plastic Death

Today I am not continuing Artemis's life story, but telling a story I've written. This story reminds us that we use too much plastic, and maybe should tone it down. You may know them, you may not. This is the first story I will be telling about the Beginning of the Gods, Titans, and Demigods. I wanted to start out by saying: I hope you enjoy. I am an amateur trying to learn some new skills. If you could give me some feedback, that would be great! New episodes come out every Saturday and Sunday.
