I dont have my very own safe space, since I live in a tiny home. but for my husband and I, our safe space has always been our car. maybe bc we lived in it at one point. but very frequently once we pull in the driveway we tend so sit and chill in our car for quite some time. i go and grab our dog from inside and go back in the car lol

The black squiggly figures need to be a Doctor Who episode if they aren't already. I just finished watching the 12th Doctor episodes, and 12 would have done well with them.

this was something I truly needed. I've been feeling out of touch with myself and my life, like I'm not doing anything good. But this week I've been trying to celebrate the small wins of the day and it makes me feel so much better. ❤

I took the survey (Via character) and Kalyn is absolutely right! I got results I've never even considered they were strengths! 1) love of learning 2) forgiveness I never saw this characteristics as strengths but I'll do my best to include them into my day!

hey, I know this is late but I just wanted to say thank you. I went through my first breakup recently and it was really rough. still is really rough but you helped me remember that I shouldnt bring myself down by focusing on the bad and should just keep focusing on the future and the good to come. these podcasts have really helped me get back on my feet 😊❤

I just woke up, listening to this as I get ready for work. I was annoyed and not looking forward to manual labor, but I know as long as I try to relax it won't be as torturous.

this is such a refreshing concept! I have never heard or thought of anything like this before. I know it's important to take breaks to recharge and to help prevent burnout. but this perspective is life changing. I'm definitely the goal getter type of person who's focused on being productive. whether its work related or doing something fun. im alwayys doing something. and at the same time feeling guilty for it both ways. like working too much but playing too much. lol the inner turmoil is exhausting. this past weekend I really allowed myself to just chill bc my friend from WA came to stay for about 5 days and she really just likes to chill. and it felt SO GOOD. so from this past week and this podcast my perspective on tasks, work, play and rest has shifted. 🤗 like this podcast has solidified and clearly narrated what was bubbling in the back of my mind. thank you 😊

Hi, this type of meditation is called Vipassana. It was invented in India at the time of Gautam Buddha. I have learned this technique in a meditation camp. Sure it helps a lot !

I 100% relate to how u feel waiting for the perfect mood and perfect setting so I take too much time preparing to do something than actually do it. For me that and fer of success are the two main reasons for procrastination, I think ur advice of feeling excited instead of worried or thinking foo much about it is genius and I will definitely try it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can so relate to waiting for the right mood to do something. I am currently procrastinating several big important tasks, because I feel like they are going to take a long time to complete, and I am so used to instant gratification. I feel like if I can get into the right mood, I can do them no problem. Issue is, I waited for months for the right mood and it never came. And now I have weeks left until the deadline, so it has to happen somehow, only I am now more stressed than I would have ever been if I had just started earlier.
