Both Zen and Stoicism do not require hype and excitement. Way too much hype to make it sound ‘cool’. This is the very thing that your target audience does not want. For 30 years I’ve combined Zen and Stoicism as my personal philosophy. I was really excited when I saw the title of your podcast, but extremely disappointed listening to them. Very short on expert commentary, Niko just painfully repeats what you say while trying to be cool about it. That’s too bad, I thought I found something that I could relate to. You’re holding back on your knowledge and Niko is talking way too much. Sorry, but I have to unsubscribe.

doesn't the example of going to the gym with a mindset of what you can get out of it conflict with the view of enjoying the process?
