1. Time - If you’re not meeting consistently then the group won’t matter.
2. Access to your network - You’re going to refer your people to them and them to your network
3. Skills/Goods - If at all possible you should apply your skills to the group and/or offer your goods to them.
4. Focus - Spend time helping others with their situations
5. Travel - Mastermind groups should meet in person
6. Vulnerability - You’re going to have to be yourself with these people
7. Humility - Receive feedback on your ideas, mindset, words, actions.

People are messy. They’re unpredictable because life is unpredictable. After we discuss setting up your Mastermind I’m going to share a story of how and why I left a very successful Mastermind. When the purpose of a Mastermind is for one person to make money, that Mastermind is corrupted for the following reasons. It puts them in a position of power that takes them outside of the group and then they become the coach. Money doesn’t have to complicate things if you understand why the money exists. It can communicate a commitment to the group, it can fund group activities, it can fund the services provided by the leadership team.
