The wisest man of all time, King Solomon has a Proverb for each day of the month. His book of wisdom in the Bible has withstood the test of time and still holds true today. As Proverbs 4:7 states, “wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” And Proverbs 119:99 says, “I have more understanding than all my teachers. I am God’s foolishness, and so is my story. Today, I share my testimony in order to give context and background around why I am so passionate about Jesus, reading scripture, and having a relationship with God for ourselves. 1 Corinthians 1:18, 25-31 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
