Faduma enjoys teaching computer science including introductory python and machine learning. She has taught diverse groups of students for over 5 years across highschool, undergraduate, and graduate level.
Maya, a senior at MIT is all set to share her expertise in electromagnetism, astrophysics, 3D modeling, and more with our students! With a rich background as a research assistant, contributing to projects like low-cost prosthetic limbs and asteroid data collection, she is excited to share her passion.
Having navigated the nerves of transitioning into tertiary education, she also hopes to boost students’ confidence by sharing her personal journey and experience.
Ellie, a Sophomore at MIT, is passionate about maths, electrical engineering and physics. With a pedagogical approach tailored to individual needs, she looks forward to facilitating engaging sessions for DCIS Primary and Secondary students next week.

The Year 12 Global Issues ECA aims to explore key issues in our global society and present them to you in a clear, engaging and exciting way. Global Issues are defined by 3 things: being significant on a large scale, occurring across nations, and felt in everyday local contexts. Examples include gender inequality, mental health stigmatisation, immigration, war, climate change – the list goes on! We aim to do the research and analysis of these and present our findings via the school blog and our podcast; DCIS:The Discussion.
