Diary of Sia Nas

So this is the last episode ever. Time to move on to greener pastures. Thanks so much to everyone who has listened and followed along on my journey, love you all long time.  So in this last episode I talk about copyright issues I had with my lofi beat Garden State, I went to a lovely Christmas Lunch with strangers. I have been connecting with more family members. I watched quite a few movies including Top End Wedding which is a wonderful Australian movie that has a lot of heart. I was surprised to find The Hitman’s Bodyguard had a lot of laughs, an enormous amount of violence but a lot of heart too.  I also watched Deadpool. Have to say Deadpool 2 is my favourite. I also saw Love Actually which is one of my all time favourite movies.   I have continued the Ableton course to learn how to use my music making program to make better beats.  I have a new millionaire mentor and I am hoping to follow his roadmap to make millions of my own!  I also been reading up to fill in my quota of reading ten books a year.  Plus lots more odd and ends. On the second last episode I talk about the very polite movie Stan & Ollie about the wonderful comedic duo Laurel and Hardy. It really is a must see. I got my new iPhone12 Pro and watched a great special on Netflix called Jerry Before Seinfeld which shows attitude is everything. Started a new course on Ableton to improve my music making skills and bought lots more courses for my creativity. I got my DNA pack from MyAncestry to find out about my heritage. I got a free one subscription to Apple TV because I got the new iPhone. I saw a songwriting special with Seal which I wasn’t too impressed with. I watched the new Taylor Sift special where she performs all the songs off her new album Folklore. See what I thought about her album. I watched a documentary about MTV which was very interesting and finished the week watching Mariah’s Christmas special which I loved and hated. See why. The week started with my invention and contacting the manufacturer in Thailand then watching Spectre with my favourite Bond. I got an aunty to help me fill in more details of my ancestry tree and I ordered the new iPhone 12 pro! I watched Easy Rider and a new series on Netflix called Losers about people who have tried in sports and not succeeded but their lives weren’t over! I got some plugins from the Black Friday sales including RC-20, Sausage Fattner, Endless Smile and updated my Melodyne package. I made a beautiful beat inspired by a new uncle, listened to the new Miley Cyrus album Plastic Hearts and enrolled in a new Ableton course to take my beat making production to a new level. It’s been a busy week. Beat of the week is Sounds a beat I made using different sounds such as aerosol cans spraying, air conditioner humming, city ambience, cassette tape playing inserting tape and closing, money flicking, champagne pouring, belt buckles, tennis balls, a cabinet closing, bicycle bell ringing and coloured pencils drawing. Celebrating 12000 plays thanks to all who listen love you long time. Also showing off my new hair do. Perfect for summer nice and short. This week I chat about a new beat I made and songwriting to it. Kelly Jones talks about songwriting and the Stereophonics play. I watched season 4 of The Crown and got really mad at Charlie boy. I also watched the Eurovision movie with Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, wow it was 2 hrs long! I started reading Jessica Simpson's autobiography Open Spaces which is a bit of a hard read. I got the last of my make-up from the massive shopping spree I went of this year, it was from Juvia's Place and Kylie Cosmetics.  I spent a long time at the emergency department at the Eye and Ear Hospital and a long time working on butterflies which I didn't use! Finally a music based week. I watched a Netflix special on ZZ Top and a great new show called Song Exploder where artists like Alicia Keys and REM explain how one of their songs came to be. After this I discovered Alicia Keys new album Alicia and discovered a great new song called Good Job. It will bring you up if you're feeling down. Good Job Alicia haha. Quantum of Solace was the Bond movie of the week. It has two of my favourite scenes in it.  I also watched a show about songwriters and this week was about Paul Anka who explains some of the wonderful songs he wrote including My Way which was written for and recorded by Frank Sinatra. I also watched lots of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and Bad Billionaires about some very bad billionaires who made a big mess with their businesses hopefully my spoiled nephew doesn't get into this mess when he is older! This week I got into a few uncomfortable conversations. I won money on The Melbourne Cup, I was thrilled to see Joe Biden win, good riddance to that nasty fool Trump. I saw a documentary on Netflix about the play Merrily We Roll Along by Stephen Sondheim and Hal Prince that was savaged by critics and closed after two weeks. I got some gorgeous eye lashes called Iconic and am looking at changing manufactures from Thailand to Vietnam. I made half a beat! This week was about lockdown finally being over and having freedom to move and shop in store! I also learned how to make better music and beats, dealing with the manufacturer for my invention and being positive about outcomes. I watched Justice League and loved the power that Wonder Woman showed. I also watched Clouds on Disney+ about Zach Sobiech who died from cancer just as his song became a hit.  I got lots of makeup from a cool black owned beauty brand called Playing in Makeup by Yolonda. This week was all about family. Through Ancestry.com I met new family and have been chatting with everyone endlessly. I watched the new BlackPink documentary Light Up The Sky on Netflix and well as The Social Dilemma which will scare you cold off social media hahah. Well it will make you think. I also saw a beautiful movie released in 2017 called Call Me By Your Name. I got a ton of make-up some from Sephora others that I have waited months for and some I am still waiting for months for! I talk about gluten free chicken schnitzel and putting up a green house for a summer vegie garden and playing with worms! Beat of the week is Straight Out an industrial, grungy beat. I was really rusty this week and I only had a week off!  The last few weeks have been about beatmaking, songwriting, my invention and make-up.  I started songwriting on some beats producers sent me years ago and got some serious writers block. I discovered Tej Lalvani from Dragon's Den who gives great business advice and had quite a few issues with my invention, what a headache! I listened to Dolly Parton's America and watched A Few Good Men. I also connected with a family member through Ancestry.com and have received heaps of information about family I never knew I had. It's nice to be part of a whole. I got ignored again by my billionaire "mentor" hahaha. Cosy is beat of the week. It's a lovely lofi beat. This week was a mix of music, business and movie watching. I made a few beats, dealt with the 3D printers who I have to treat like a baby and got a rude comment from the designer as well. Had to talk to a lawyer about it. I watched My octopus Teacher which contained some gorgeous music and Fyre on Netflix and saw Lindy Chamberlain - The True Story documentary, hear what I thought.  I connected with a new relative via Ancestry.com which was nice. I got some of the last makeup (I swear) I am buying. This time it was from Morphe which was a colab with Coca Cola and I also got some magnetic eyelashes which work a treat. The most exciting thing that happened this week is that I am in talks with a manufacturer in Thailand to make my invention. It's early days yet but they are really nice and I hope we see it through. I made one sexy beat. I watched the doc This is Paris plus saw lots of YouTube and started from the beginning of Schitts Creek. I got lots of makeup from different brands including Yanga Beauty, MakeUp Addiction, JD Glow, BYS, Ofra, and some used makeup! I also got some incredible eyelashes from Tatti Lashes and an airfyer. Hear my review. I am looking for a new mentor cause I got dumped by my billionaire mentor I think for being too mouthy. This week has been more about business than anything. I have been dealing with 3D printers, finding manufacturers overseas, annoying my designer and pissing off my billionaire mentor. Yep he's gone! This week was a hard week I was exhausted all week so I gave myself a break and let myself rest as much as I could. I made half a beat and worked on my invention. I got some sad news about my neighbour and am boycotting Mulan. Now that I am a girl boss I have been reading more books written by women and am loving what I find. Celebrating 10,000 downloads of my podcast! Thank you again to everyone who listens and follows along, love you all long time. I made some eclectic beats.  I also made some boss moves with my invention and learning to deal with people tactfully which is new for me hahaha. Got into some prickly situations but I think I dealt with them well. Last week I forgot to mention I spoke to my Auntie and cousin who I hadn't seen or heard from in over 15 years. I made a mix of a few different types of beats one with a Dirty South flavour. I tried to fix some mistake I made on my laptop with a music program. The designer for my invention got mad at me but I didn't do anything wrong! I had a good week despite the madness of the lockdown. I got a new plugin called Radiator which gives a Motown sound and made a mix of beats including an interesting one called Sounds. I had a dream about a big fat owl hahaha that I loved! Hear my shambled review of McMillions which I saw on the Showcase channel on Foxtel which will confuse you no end hahaah. I discovered a new band called Glass Animals. I saw the movie Jumping Jack Flash which is an oldie but a goodie. My invention is humming along and I found out about a 3D printer place to go into the next phase. I worked on my business plan and thought I lost my billionaire mentor but he is still there thank God hahah. Got more make-up plus lots of odds and ends. This week I was in a lofi mood and made some lofi beats. I also received a ton of make-up that I bought during the last couple of months. I watched the new visual album by Beyonce called Black Is King which I have mixed feelings about. There was a lot of spiritual mumbo jumbo that I didn't like. Movie night had me watching a movie I never thought I would like. Find out which it is. Saw Jurassic Park III as well which I thoroughly enjoyed. As usual tons of home maintenance and house work plus lots of odds and ends to amuse you with.   To end the week we went into a State of Disaster and we are all locked down for six weeks thanks to all the idiots who aren't doing the right thing! So this week was a better week then last week where I was feeling so down. I made a few beats and watched the documentary Off the Record about super producer David Foster where I learned about failure, perseverance and not giving up.  I also saw the movie Ford v Ferrari and learned the same things.
