Are you feeling burned out, stressed, worried all the time, or losing sleep? Maybe its time to check your boundaries. If you don’t have firm boundaries at work and home, it’s easy for people to get over on you and leave you drained and stretched thin. In this episode, my guest Rachel shares that everyone is trying to get their needs met. But this doesn’t mean that you should give up yours. It’s okay to want your needs and values. As moms, we tend to get oppressed in our own space. With people stealing our ideas, taking our time, and trying to convince us that we need to be nicer, smile more, and be kinder. On top of that, there’s this societal pressure to sacrifice everything for your kids and be there any time they need us. Which is not true or fair. We can’t be available all the time because we will get burned out. This is why boundaries are so important. We have to learn to say no and have firm boundaries. Check out this episode to get tips for maintaining boundaries at work and at home so that you can avoid burn out and unnecessary stress. REAL HAPPY MOM INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM SHOW NOTES: https://www.realhappymom.com/86This week's mom win comes from Alison @alisonjegebergSign up for my weekly newsletter and get printable affirmations to help keep you positive during the day.The doors to the Real Happy Mom Tribe are closing June 30. When you have a baby there are so many emotions going on. Then you get home and you are waking up every two to three hours to feed or change the baby. It doesn’t take long to feel exhausted with a new baby. What if I told you that there is someone that could help you get your baby to sleep through the night for twelve hours? Sounds crazy, right? When I first heard about my guest Hanneke (pronounced Hanukkah) and how she was able to accomplish this, I knew I had to get her on the podcast to help moms everywhere with this universal problem. In this episode, Hanneke shares tips for getting your baby to sleep through the night. Plus, the foundation that needs to happen before including a feeding routine, morning, and evening routine. And if you have a baby that goes to daycare or is in the care of someone else during the day, she shares how you can get your baby to sleep through the night even when you are not in control of what happens during the day. REAL HAPPY MOM INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM SHOW NOTES: https://www.realhappymom.com/84This week's mom win comes from Ariana @maejanaebeautySign up for my weekly newsletter to get printable affirmations to help keep you positive during the day.⚡The doors to the Real Happy Mom Tribe are opening on June 22nd. ⚡ Sign up here to get on the waitlist. Even though I am in the Navy Reserves, I still don’t like to exercise. If you are like me and are struggling with exercising on a regular basis, you’ve got to listen to this episode. My guest, Lyn from Couch to Active shares some of the barriers that we have to exercise and fitness and how to break through stereotypes of who does what types of exercise. Because let’s be honest you should do whatever exercise you love doing. Even if it is not what people think that your age, gender, or race typically does. Lyn also helps to tackles some of the body image and body positivity issues that may be preventing us from exercising. She shares some of the secrets about some of the fitness and bodybuilder influencers that will have your mouth on the floor. Then she challenges with questions to ask ourselves so that we stay motivated and committed to exercising. I will be honest, negative self-talk is what I struggle with, and the number one reason why I don’t exercise as often as I should. The good news is  Lyn shares how I can get it under control. So go ahead and listen to this podcast now. You will thank me later.REAL HAPPY MOM INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM SHOW NOTES: https://www.realhappymom.com/83This week's mom win comes from Tiffany @tiffiny_spireSign up for my weekly newsletter to get printable affirmations to help keep you positive during the day.⚡The doors to the Real Happy Mom Tribe are opening on June 22nd. ⚡Sign up here to get on the waitlist. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be difficult. Let’s be honest, the food industry makes it challenging. With all of the labels with misleading words like “all-natural” or “natural flavors” that make you think that you are eating something healthy until you read in the ingredient list.In this episode, I talked to Sarah from Fast Food Healing foods and how to make it easy for busy working moms to put healthy nutritious meals on the table that don’t take much prep. Having been a busy mom with little ones at one time, she gives practical advice on meals that we prepare that are low maintenance and nutritious so you don’t have to go to the line at McDonald’s.She shared why we need to get rid of white sugar and white flour from our diets. And what removing white sugar and white flour from our diets can do for our health. Especially for kids with behavioral issues. Check out this episode so that you can feed your kids to health and enjoy happy, healthy kids.REAL HAPPY MOM INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/realhappymomREAL HAPPY MOM SHOW NOTES: https://www.realhappymom.com/82Sign up for my weekly newsletter to get printable affirmations to help keep you positive during the day.The doors to the Real Happy Mom Tribe are opening on June 22nd.
