In this follow-up from the previous installment of our “Shades of Bae” series, we pick up the conversation from where we left off in “An Unconventional Affair”, which was inspired by Black Mirror’s striking vipers' episode, where two best friends found themselves in a virtual entanglement that rooted itself much further and deeper than either of them would ever imagine. As our conversation progressed we found ourselves unpacking what some would say, the cheater knows best. With assignations afoot, and reflections of the misplaced trust we put, with previous partners for which we have now parted ways. Removed emotionally from journeys we once took, we now convene to take a look at the nuance at play, in the many shades of bae.

Untitled, undefined with both parties often not inclined, to put a label or bring what is unspoken to the table. Are they uninterested or unable to dissect, the desires they have, that society has told them, to reject? Or are those desires linked, to bonds, they are more inclined, to protect? This is a journey through what is often unseen, yet felt deeply, at the core of one's being. Join us as we take, a look at the nuanced experiences that have shaped us, the bonds that break the boundaries we make.

Were we crippled from the start, fed with poison from the parts, our community that only embraces a narrow view of humanity, though be it far from their own reality? Were we nurtured on the nipple of insanity?

In this and the upcoming episodes of this series, we will explore the dangerous dance between nature and nurture, and unveil the provocative teachings and messages about love and intimacy that we were exposed to and influenced by. Through intoxicating storytelling and passionate discussions, we'll navigate the twisted and captivating path of healing from past traumas as we seek to answer why so many people hide parts of themselves from the people they love the most while sharing those hidden parts with those who are like ghosts. And how we have emerged out of a culture of hiding, a culture of fear, a culture that provided a corrupt kind of care, and now we’re here, beyond the ripples of the toxic nipples!

In that previous episode, the differences in opinions were not subtle! So here we are in this episode with more of “The Rebuttal”.

In our previous episode “Looks of Lustful Means” I spoke with three members of The Board about shifting boundaries, secret fantasies, and what lures the voyeur; but that wasn’t all! We took a voyage into the seas of gray, beyond what is black and white, and we continued that voyage in our conversation today. But the members of The Board in this episode are from a different crew, they have a different perspective than the previous few. They wanted to unpack some of what was said in “Looks of Lustful Means”, but don’t worry the shade came in sprinkles, not in streams. I’d describe it as, subtle. The Exhibitionist’s Spell is the rebuttal!
