In this episode, I discuss how we need to focus on positive intentions in our world. Instead of focusing on the negative, we need to focus on the positive and assume everyone has a positive intention. I start this episode off with a quote from Buddha, "holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else: you are the one who gets burned." I also discuss 2021 Vision Boards using the Google App, Jamboard. Finally, I discuss the positive outcomes that these last 9 months have had on students and educators across the country. In this podcast episode, I talk about how we can bring more gratitude and appreciate into our lives by letting go of "things" we have become attache too. For example, physical things, procedures, curriculum, and/or routines that can indirectly not allow gratitude and appreciation into our classroom and personal lives. I challenge listeners, in this episode, to consider things that you have become attached too that may no longer serve you. By getting rid of these things it opens up the possibilities for new things to come into our lives. I also discuss strategies to stay happy and healthy through the stressful month of October.  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mindfulteacherk12/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mindfulteacherk12/support
