With the flagship event for world rugby kicking off this Friday, Dan and Niall review the various storylines at play going into the pool stages, and try to get a sense of where the pitfalls could be for the favourites in each pool.
With the culmination of the Pro14 and a historic undefeated league campaign by Leinster, we now take a look ahead at the Heineken cup and how the various leagues will have set up their teams for the knockout stages this weekend.
With rugby in the northern hemisphere back, we take a look at what the different leagues are doing with respect to this season whilst preparing for a truncated 2020/21 season and the impact this will have on international games.
After a successful international window for the north hemisphere, Dan and Niall look at where that leaves world rugby, how the run-in to the world cup could look. They also try to make sense of what beating the all blacks, South Africa or Australia actually means.
With the next world cup just under 2 years away, Dan and Niall take a look at how teams are shaping up, who is riding high, who are on the up and who are looking to be living on past glories.
In a world where there is no rugby, until the 13th of June, Niall and Dan have kept themselves entertained through looking at self help books. Vaguely at the actual books and more about the idea of the books and a few of the ideas in the books.
After a tumultuous season and a mish-mash of tournaments in the last 12 months, Niall and Dan try to figure out where teams are and how things are shaking up with the lions having been announced too.
We briefly look at where the chips lie now for the Heineken cup quarter finals, a look at how the teams have been selected for the 6 nation's, and a brief touch on a financial scandal happening in Saries at the moment, in case you haven't heard.
Review of the first 4 rounds the champions cup and some of the interpros in this Christmas season, and a shameless plug for @IanMadigan
Our longest podcast this year, to follow what felt like a long world cup, from the early excitement of Japan to the peak of South African rugby. We've tried to wrap it all up, with a brief view towards what this means for the current state of rugby
So, this is the first transcontinental Outside Centres podcast. After hours of trying to get this to work, we finally got a recording.
