PGA Gambling, Player Comparisons, Mental Game, Decade, and more. Lots to cover and we didn't really get to everything we missed over the last 4 months. Thanks for listening!
Thanks for listening and reminding us to keep creating more shows. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Also visit www.faded.golf for shitty merch!
Happy New Year! Here's to hoping 2021 gets better as we go. Cheers!!!
If we've learned anything during this pandemic, it's that people behaviors continue to change, and depending on where you live the government has varying trust in you for how to navigate the pandemic. A little bit of golf talk in here, but Jon and I have a good back in forth on the state of things in America.
Somewhat of a miscellaneous episode. Let us know your thoughts on the random topics. Cheers!
Thanks for listening everyone. Hope you enjoyed a November Masters unlike any other.
I hope you can squeeze this episode in before some bets. We like Bubba Watson if you need something quick. Cheers all! Thanks for listening!!!
Back again with another episode. Catching up after a fall break off. We drink some crap liquor from France too. Not sure it's worth gifting unless you just want more variety in your collection.
Thanks for listening!
We're back with season 3 of TFGP! Added NFL pick'em segment toward the end for week 4 of the NFL. Check that out.
Thanks for listening!!!
Season 2 wrap up here. Moving on to season 3 soon. Hope you enjoy this one. Thanks for listening!
We approach the end of season 2, and Jon and I share are lackluster club championship efforts, swing the new Mizuno MP-20 MMCs, talk golf, and sample some Indiana bourbon. Enjoy and thanks for listening!
Jon and I get a chance to talk to two Big Ten alumni golfers, Scott and Sean Busch. Sean is currently playing on the Latinoamerica Tour, so we discuss his professional career and talk about what it takes to play at the highest levels in golf. Hope you all in enjoy it!
Much like in the summer of 2019, Jon and I took a little break from recording, enjoyed some summer time with the families, and played some golf. With the PGA Championship concluding we figured it was a good time to get back together and chat some about the last couple months, our take on the PGA Championship, and recap some things golf things from the last couple months. Hope you enjoy it as we get closer to wrapping up season 2 of the podcast. Cheers!
Jon and I open up about what's going on in society. Hope you can appreciate our take (or dice it up and let us know your thoughts), but we also hope it is a step forward in more people opening up and being vulnerable in conversations. Thanks for listening!
After a couple weeks off we're back. With stay-at-home orders lifting we were also able to get together for the first time since February to record. Technology has been great to connect via phones, but it's always fun to enjoy a few beverages and hang out. Hope you enjoy this. We sample some Horse Soldier bourbon at the end. Cheers!
Having spoken with multiple golf pros over the past year or so, I would say that Chad had some different perspectives on the swing compared to others. Definitely a more technical approach and we enjoy the stories he shared with us along with his experience in golf. Hope you enjoy the show.
Super excited to have Indiana University golfer, Jack Sparrow, back on the show. We discuss the sudden ending to the 2020 season and Jack's college career, what is next for Jack in 2020, and how George Gankas has helped him improve his golf swing.
A few other nuggets in there for sure as we talk IU basketball, the idea of having an IU/PU showdown at Chatham, and why Jordan was the GOAT!
Hope you enjoy this one. We hope to get George and Jack both on next time!
Excited to catch up with my high school teammate Colby Huffman. Colby is the 2012 Indiana PGA Teaching Professional of the Year. He's coach along side Hank Haney, David Leadbetter, and had the opportunity to interact with some of the greats in the game. He currently offers lessons in central Indiana and is part of the Golf Channel Academy where you can find him online sharing tips and drills to improve your game.
You can find his book, Train for Golf Like an Olympian, on Amazon.com. You'll find some great insight and statistics on how the way you prepare to compete in golf can be a science.
We hope you enjoy this episode as we certainly took a lot away from it ourselves.
Rocco D'Angelo is all in on this episode! We're excited about his participation and hope he can join us for more!!!
Be safe out there everyone!
We're excited to have our new club pro, Brandon Snell, on the show to talk about the state of managing golf during these challenging times. We also learn a bit about how Brandon came to be the head pro at Chatham Hills and his path back to Indiana. We hope you enjoy this insight into managing a club during this challenging time, and appreciate you tuning in and sharing with your friends. More guests to come here in April. Cheers all!
