Prepare to be excited by swashbuckling pirates, wailing ghosts, exiled witches, and lost treasure! We watched The Lovebirds on Netflix this week, and also the TV show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. We also discovered some wildlife in Maine (mice! birds! bobcats! bears!), baked some cookies, and returned home to find some lovely and thoughtful chalk messages in our driveway (shoutout to Nick, Christy, and Steph!). Welcome to our next mini-milestone, episode 85! This week, Emma covers a story she’s been sitting on for a while — the grisly murders of the Ken and Barbie killers, Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. Thanks so much to Jennifer Hamilton for the suggestion! Anish talks about the spooky Sallie House and its chilling child ghost. Emma finished Hollywood this week, and has mixed feelings. In addition, the whole family watched the hilarious movie Extra Ordinary, the slightly depressing movie Chasing Coral, season two of Ricky Gervais’ After Life, and binged Solar Opposites (more or less together). Anish also watched the movie The Bookshop, and Emma watched Tucker and Dale vs. Evil on Netflix.
