Jessica Anderson @CrazyRunnerMother offers us insight into the Mom Community that exists on TikTok. She has met many other TikTok creators, offered mutual support, and even collaborated with many of them. During the year of the pandemic, staying at home became a new way of life and that transition was easier because of the ability to find new friends online through the TikTok platform.  Jessica relates, “I feel like we've all watched each other go through this whole stage of the pandemic and where we are in life. Not only are we trying to keep each other motivated and going, but we're also just trying to keep each other aware that we're all in the same boat. We're all sinking and drowning on one day and doing well the next. So I think it's the community that kept me there.” Jessica found new confidence and a platform that allows the world to hear her voice saying, “That's a really amazing thing about TikTok, that people who never felt like they had a voice or had an audience finally feel like they belong to something bigger than themselves. They feel confident. It's an amazing way to grow within a social media platform. I've never seen a media platform like this.” Although she started her TikTok channel by making trend videos and sharing her love of running, she recently found passion and purpose in sharing what’s going on within the world of Q Anon. She talks about conspiracy theories and the rabbit hole they become for these people. Jessica tells us, “I ventured into conspiracy talk recently. Like Q Anon, not that I believe it, but I shared it and it just caught on with a lot of people and they were interested. I make a point of really educating myself on not only the nonsense aspect, but the education to combat the nonsense.” Here on The Tik Tok Podcast, our mission is to provide a bridge between the older generation and pop culture by focusing on how Tik Tok is influencing our world. In October of 2006, before Fenn had written "The Thrill of the Chase" and before he had hidden his treasure, he was interviewed by The Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming. He seemed to be a lot more relaxed than in the interviews he's conducted after the release of the book. In addition, there is some new, helpful information in this interview. Upon the release of his second memoir, "Too Far to Walk," the Moby Dickens Book Shop in Taos, New Mexico, hosted a book signing and question and answer session. This is the, if not one of, the most informative videos on the treasure Fenn hid in the mountains North of Santa Fe. Toby Younis of A Gypsy's Kiss made the recording. Copyright © 2013. Toby Younis. Radio New Zealand Interview with Forrest Fenn, April 13, 2013. Radio New Zealand is their equivalent of PBS. In this telephone interview Fenn speaks freely on the search for his treasure, including (at about 9:24) the revelation (at the time) that "Begin it where warm waters halt," is the first clue. Do yourself a favor, though, and listen to the entire interview. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/thetiktokpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thetiktokpodcast/support
In this video, Lorene Mills, host of "Report from Santa Fe," presented on PBS station, KNME-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico interviews Forrest Fenn, author of "The Thrill of the Chase." In our opinion this is one of the four most important videos anyone searching for the Fenn Treasure should watch. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/thetiktokpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thetiktokpodcast/support
