Mature Love vs Lust

Mature Love vs Lust

2024-03-0625:33

Lustful love is filled with fantasy, lives on the surface; Mature love has deep tree roots, yet can fade. What is better? Can lustful love turn into Mature love?
Rumination is indulging in your pain; some therapists will also indulge in your trauma and pain. This weaves it into your personality instead of creating resilience. The path to healing is accepting your trauma, not focusing on the why or who, because must likely those variables have been removed. What you do have control of after a trauma is how you move through it. Some people want to say they don’t have control over their life or emotions, but that’s just not true. It requires effort to shift from rumination to freedom. It takes effort to change the narrative. Trauma is 💯 going to happen. The darkness is the teacher. No one is going to leave Earth without some type of trauma. We have to accept that darkness is here, we need to be aware of it, and learn from it. But as soon as the focus becomes the trauma, you have stopping living. You have stopped living in the present. . “At the end of this journey, what matters is how you felt during your journey, not what you did or accomplished. The Earthly chaos is perfect, yet we keep getting distracted, trying to change it. The goal is to cultivate more inner peace and joy in the midst of the chaos. The chaos will always be.”
We spend so much time worried, am I with the right person? Even before we make the commitment, we are obsessed with that question. What if I told you, there is no right person.
Everything is pretty clear, right in front of us, yet we are choosing to not see clearly. What do I mean by this? Sometimes we are attached to a fantasy or outcome; therefore we are cancelling out the red flags and giving more weight to pretty words.
Some of our narratives are holding us back, keeping us from reaching our goals. Sometimes we believe these beliefs are ours, when maybe they are not?
Love or Fear

Love or Fear

2024-02-0521:47

Love is based on freedom or fear. Fear and love cannot exist at the same time, you can only be in one at each moment, When does love become obligation and when does love become freedom?
I promise you, you will go through periods of your life where you completely loose yourself to a relationship, career, trauma, or even your children. We are supposed to loose ourselves, to find our new selves.

We are the ones that created the division in our mind of the Conscious & Subconscious by creating preferences (good/bad). We push out the negative into the subconscious, instead of just being open to experiencing life on life's terms and not our own.
Train your Brain

Train your Brain

Your brain is more easily trained/programmed to the negative. Following a trauma or negative incident, the brain is programmed to the negative in a way to protect you and keep you safe
What is a Trigger

What is a Trigger

2022-12-2106:47

A trigger is an alarm system notifying us that an unhealed wound is being activated. In this moment we usually go into fight, flight, defense or another protective motion to protect. What we really should be doing is being the observing of the moment and go inward.
Sometimes we mistake love and support, as not bringing up uncomfortable or confronting topics in a relationship. Or not bringing awareness to our partners struggles or unhealthy patterns. But part of love and support is accountability and growth
Knowing our parts, the different aspects of ourselves, helps us react differently to situations and people
The Holiday season can be such a fun time! Yet the dark side is it can bring up heavy emotions and be very triggering. Guess what? You have some control to ensure this season is mostly light by setting boundaries, tending to your inner child and putting yourself first
Our bodies are meant to move; as a species we are meant to create and challenge ourselves.
People that have a positive mindset or resilience are not special, they are most likely going through some of the same things, challenges, drama, etc that the rest of the world are going through. They choose to react differently in these moments; they choose to not be controlled by fear and they understand that discomfort is a sign of growth. To grow, to achieve, you have to feel come pain or discomfort to get the pot of gold.
There is a theory that coddling society can create a weak society. That too many accommodations can make us weak. What do you think?
Resistance and the Ego pops up whenever life doesn't go our way; but what if we can reframe that, soften and see life as mirrors reflecting back to us on how we need to grow or heal?
The tides always change. Until recent our identities have been defined by intangible items like purpose, community, morals and how can I give make to the community. Even asking questions like, "why am I here on Earth, to do what?"Our focus on our identity has now become narcissistic, focusing to much on the self, not able to be uncomfortable. The identity has now become the obsession with gender, sexual orientation and even pronouns. Again, all focused on the self. To reach wholeness and contentment the identity has to be anchored in intangible items, otherwise it's superficial and narcissistic.
