Sometimes our story of our trauma or childhood because our identity... HOW? Because we allowed our trauma or story to overtake ourselves; we told the story so much, got stuck in it and never found our path to healing out of it. No worries, there is still time. We can always change the power of the story/trauma, we can always step into a new story of our choice. Our story and trauma doesn't have to define us or create us, it can change or evolve us into something we desire.
Surprise Surprise! We assume that if the symptoms are different, the wounds are different in siblings. Yet the wound is the same, the symptoms and personality can look different. When we are wounded in childhood, some of us externalize our pain and some of us internalize our pain. Most of the time, the one externalizing the pain, gets the scapegoat label and the one internalizing the pain, gets the healthy label.
Discomfort and blockages are information of where more healing is needed. When we resist, we can't see or hear the lesson or wisdom. We become stuck. Repair your relationship with discomfort and blockages.
Sometimes we don't know if we are experiencing depression or if our mind/body is asking for rest (to slow down).
Reframing your past

Reframing your past

2021-01-0510:19

Reframing your past doesn't mean minimizing it or skipping over the pain, it means taking control over what you learn from it and how you carry it through life.
In what ways are you taking up emotional, physical, & mental space? Do you claim your energy? Your emotions? Have you claimed your right to be here and your worth?
We assume closure has to be done with two people, or more; yet that is disempowering. If we need another person to heal us, to help us move forward, what does that mean? Maybe our idea of closure has been limited this whole time?
Typically we cling to control and the Ego convinces us we will get that control we seek, yet ...there is no end. We never get the control we desire. Why. Because the unknown will always exist and it always changes, so getting control is impossible. A battle you wont ever win
Is speaking your truth seen as confrontation? Is confrontation negative? Speaking your truth can be done with firmness, strength and compassion; so why don't we feel encouraged always to do so? What is holding us back?
We attach to our external world, and we internalize suffering. Yet suffering starts from within, it doesn't come from outside of us, unless we have it already within. Is suffering a choice or state of mind? Do we have a choice to suffer or not, or does it just happen?
Is your external world motivating you or accumulating negative emotions? Sometimes our external world we receive as a way to tell us how to feel and react. When we evolve and mature, we begin to understand that we are incharge of our emotions and reactions; and no matter what is going on outside of us, we can choose what we attach too.
Neither! When people are responding and reacting from their wounds, insecurities or inner child; you are stuck in an unhealthy pattern. This can be changed through mindfulness and choosing to respond from your healthy adult-self, and nurturing your inner child and wounds.
Sometimes we say yes when we want to say no. Sometimes we hold back our true feeling or opinions, because we don't want to hurt another person; this all can turn into people pleasing. I wonder if we are all adults and can handle the truth?
Evolving Couples

Evolving Couples

2020-09-1715:34

Evolving as a couple is not done by avoiding sensitive topics or keeping things at status quo... evolving as a couple takes effort, action and intention.
Attachment is always from our own Human-ness or Ego, detachment is from the Spirit, knowing that the world is not happening to us, we are creating our reality.
Victim mentality

Victim mentality

Victim mentality is usually a pattern that is taught and passed down, generation to generation. Or a trauma happens, and healing never happens.
