From the collective minds of Jack Luna (Dark Topic), Tyler Bell (The Westside Fairytales) and Mike Boudet (Sword and Scale) comes Monstruo, the most disturbing podcast ever made.  Nine stories, carefully crafted, one year in the making.  Each two part episode of episode of Monstruo delves into the the most heinous and depraved killers ever to walk this earth.  Told from the perspective of the individuals who were unfortunate enough to be there, and using highly-immersive audio-drama-like presentation, each story uncovers the motivation of these human monsters.
The heart of a man is depravity...There’s a monster waiting for the sun to rise in the cold and white-capped ranges of the Andes Mountains. His hands are big and his appetites are bigger, though the creatures he preys on are the smallest and most helpless of us.He likes little girls, and he likes to play house with them. He likes to pretend they’re a perfect little family. At least until the sun comes up.For the finale of Monstruo, Season One, join us as we’re strapped into the skull of one of the most disgusting creatures to ever walk this earth. A monster the authorities can’t seem to keep caged.A beast who remains free to this day.

The heart of a man is hungry...One of the first things people teach their children is how helpful the police can be. If you’re hurt, or lost, or need help, the police are always there in a pinch. But there’s a man who just sort of looks like a policeman roaming through the suburbs of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Except, you see, that he’s fat and dirty and smells just awful. And a smile that never seems to reach his two odd, differently colored eyes. And if you knew what was buried under his garage, well, you’d probably think twice about getting in the back of his nasty old car. If, that is, he lets you.

The heart of a man is deceptive...The blackest arts still thrive in the furthest reaches of the Sumatran countryside. In these impoverished villages, there are men who speak to the dead, who divine fortunes, and who cast protective charms … for a price.Of these sorcerers, one dared to seek a power beyond the pale of mortal ken, by sucking the saliva from the mouths of women. Women who come to him for advice and go missing. Women from villages of people too afraid to reveal the truth, to challenge the strange and insidious powers of The Sorcerer.

Love the show, this one just didnt do it for me. Had high expectations for the season 2 kickoff. The batman voice of the the characters was distracting and kind of made the experience phony. I'm not giving up on the show though just wanted to give feedback on my personal take.

Redhanded tells this story, from a slightly different POV. Plus their versions funny as hell. God, it's taken me almost 2 week's to get through this story 🤢

I'm enjoying this podcast. I also don't get all the people upset and mad at you guys about this being to gruesome. I mean you didn't commit the crimes.... your telling the story about the people who did. Also, I'd MUCH rather listen to you guys tell a gruesome story then to listen to all those other true crime podcasts where the people (usually women) laugh and tell jokes through the whole thing.. more that's annoying.

There is much more to the story of Katherine knight . Would have preferred to hear about that then the detailed description of the farmer killing the lamb . The lamb that looked on considering pricey a fool ? How? Please choose to go into detail of the woman's history, how she was abused by her family , how she ended up leaving her child on railway lines , threatening townsfolk with an axe . New narrator is great , more of him please.

The time changes were hard to follow. Had to listen to it twice. Still awesome. You need to be somewhere you can give it your full attention.

Love this story about Katherine Knight! As always great descriptive writing!...and coverage of a lesser known female cannibal/serial killer.

sooo happy you are all back! you guys are my favorite. probably one of the best PC out there. you are not afraid to push the boundaries regardless of the current culture of censorship surrounding creative/artistic work. if others don't like it they don't have to listen. move on!

No complaints here. I listen because I'm enthralled. What I'm ready for next is.... A killer that i can get behind. A killer that attacks and punishes the killers that need to be. A vigilante whom has a good solid reason for doing what he/she does, and which we can all empathize with. A killer whom can be understood, supported, cheered, and at least empathize with. Reality is a Fucking ugly thing and there are many, TOO MANY, whom remind us of that. It gets a bit depressing, as much as we listen. Give me someone I can champion, to counteract the never ending senseless brutality that the world dishes out EVERY FUCKING DAY!!! Just one, every now and then, that sets the pendulum in the right direction. Then tell me every elicit detail of this setting right the many wrongs. 😊😊😊.

Just wanted to say that its really lame, the creators of this podcast go out of their way to "be controversial" and incite discord amongst listeners...then advertise it as "the most controversial podcast "EVER."
