In this message, Dom looks at how God is the ultimate Waymaker. Exploring the resurrection of Lazarus we see how even death isn’t a dead end to Jesus. He can make a way where there seems to be no way. In fact, a way has been made which overshadows every way that needs to be made: the cross has said it all.
Guest Speaker - Tim Jack
This week Richard ends if our series on Prayer by encouraging us to build in a regular and deliberate pattern of prayer in our life.
In this message, Olly Goldenberg passionately challenges us to pray in a way that takes seriously our identity in Christ and the authority that we now carry in Him. Using the example of Blind Bartimaeus, Olly urges us to forget what is behind and to keep on praying boldly and consistently until we see the Kingdom of God come on earth as in heaven.
In this sermon, Pastor Phil attempts to persuade us to recover the practice of fasting in our pursuit of spiritual growth. He explains that by abstaining from food for a period of time we are taking control of the flesh in order to allow the Spirit to take control of us.
As we launch into 52 days of prayer and fasting, Pastor Phil reminds us that prayer is not given for us to pursue the presence of God, but rather to receive it. He explains that God invites us to come to him weak and helpless, trusting that as we call out to Him he always delights to meet our needs.
In this final part of our Dream Builders series, Dom looks at the various cost implications of having and pursuing a dream. When we pursue a God given dream - not only does the dream become reality, the dream builds us into a better, more blessed people.
Continuing our Dream Builders series, Lead Pastor Dom Bird takes us through chapter 3 of Nehemiah. Listing all the people and groups of people involved in rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem. The challenge for us is to be people who get stuck in, working side by side with the others in our church to fulfil the vision God has given us. We will flourish when we are planted in the church - moving towards the core rather than remaining on the fringe.
Continuing the Dream Builders series, Pastor Dom teaches about the power of prayer. Just like Nehemiah, we should make it our first response and not our last resort.
In this first message of our new Dream Builders series, Lead Pastor Dom Bird looks at the importance of dreams and visions in our daily lives. Our future, and the future of The Church depends on us being able to imagine a different and better destiny.
In today’s sermon Richard encourages us to “Just Calm Down” as we go into the new year.
In this message, Pastor Phil invites us to join the wise men on their journey to Bethlehem, and reminds us that the purpose of Christmas is not just celebration, but adoration.
In this topical message, pastor Dom talks about the upcoming elections and how we as Christians are to respond to them. By looking at the well known Christmas passage found in Isaiah 9 we see what type of leader Jesus is and how we can make Him president today.
When human beings lose connection to a sense of a hopeful and secure future it leaves us vulnerable to mental and emotional dysfunction.  In this message, Pastor Phil addresses this issue by explaining that in spite of the pain and heartache that life often throws up we are never without hope, because the promise of Christ is that ‘the best is yet to come’.
In this message Pastor Dom talks about the importance of finding your tribe. Research is showing us the connection between loneliness and depression and anxiety.  In a society which is more committed to the deconstruction of community than ever we must understand that we were made by community (God) and we were made for community (God and People).  By looking at an episode from the life of David, Dom looks at three areas where we need community connection to help us overcome the feeling of loneliness and thus resist the grip of depression and anxiety.

In part one of this series Pastor Dom explores the area of purpose and how it relates to our mental well being. Science and research affirms what the Bible says to be true - that we need to live for a purpose bigger than ourselves. However, our purpose and meaning has never been so under threat. In this message, Dom explores the threats to our sense of purpose and how we can overcome them.
In this final message from the invitation series Pastor Dom talks about how invitation was at the heart of Jesus’ life and ministry. Jesus crossed social ‘norms’ and broke with ‘acceptable’ protocol to invite the one who was far away. The harvest is ripe and in John 4 Jesus demonstrates how the harvest is always there sometimes in the most unexpected places if we open our eyes to it.
