The powerful Hip Hop producer-DJ duo, Rawlsmatic, have just released their debut collaborative album, “Role Reversal”.   Rhettmatic is a member of the World Famous BeatJunkies, Visionaries and Cypress Junkies and J. Rawls has produced for Black Star, Slum Village, Beastie Boys, Capital Steez & more. J. Rawls is also a scholar and educator at Ohio University, leading its Hip-Hop OHIO Patton Education (HOPE) program.

This week Matt Perry talks to Nick Maclaren, Serato’s Chief Strategy Officer, who guides the products Serato makes. Under his artist moniker 41beats, Nick has also worked with some of the best in the Aotearoa NZ Hip Hop scene as a producer and DJ. Nick talks about the history of Serato in its start-up days, his DJ battle days, the artists he's worked with, plus lots of nerdy music tech chat.

Matt sits down with DJ Lani Love. As well as a DJ Lani's also a producer, live streamer and is sometimes referred to as “The Wholesome DJ” (she's at least 75% wholesome). Lani is also one-third of Club Mesh DJs and has just released her new single Iced Coffee.
