The title, My Inappropriate Life, is a badge of honor. When I was at perhaps the lowest point in my life, a family member told me my life was inappropriate. This week I finally finished the article I have been putting off for a long time and got that off to my editor. I also did a little soul-searching about why I sometimes hate writing but enjoy the finished product and why that is so.

As I settle in to staying in one spot for a few weeks, without any duties, I am able to get a lot of work done and relax. it’s also allowing me to really think about what I am doing and how I can move forward this year.

I am slowly settling in to my less tentative plans for the year with an almost definite idea of going to South Africa towards the end of the year
