This week I catch up a friend of mine by the name of Rob Kigozi. Rob is the original jack of many trades. He is a property investor, classically trained musician - just like Sheku Kanneh-Mason he plays the Cello and the Keyboard, He’s a film producer. Most notably he's the Founder of a sound branding agency called CLIQ SOUNDS. CLIQ SOUNDS CREATES bespoke music for content creators. They work with ad agencies, film production companies, social media influencers.
In this episode I speak to Abi Mohammed, Abi is one of those people that is literally a human version of a unicorn. You will understand what I mean when I begin to speak about her list of phenomenal achievements. Abi is a software developer & engineer tester, she’s also the co-founder of a company called CGV which stands for Community Growth Ventures. CGV invests in underrepresented entrepreneurs looking to change the world and communities they operate in. They specifically work with startups at the Pre-Seed and Seed stage. Abi has been featured on BBC World as one of the Women to watch in tech. She has also been been featured in the London Evening Standards’ Progress 1000 Tech list influential people. Being a woman is hard, black, muslim, and working in tech is just phenomenal. Abi likes to refer herself as a maker and that is because makes things not just for herself but she also makes things happen for others. I must also add that Abi has been very instrumental in my own startup journey. She has helped me and my startup TRENDiPEOPLE in both a technical and advisory capacity.
