Rogues in the House

The Rogues are joined by Whetstone Magazine editor Chuck Clark as they journey into the depths of esoteric time on a quest for a deeper understanding of the Sword & Sorcery mainstay, Kane the Mystic Swordsman and his creator, Karl Edward Wagner. Is this mysterious, flame-haired immortal a friend? Perhaps a foe? And what's this about World Domination? Hang on to your fur-diapers and winged helms, it's gon' get rough!

The Rogues are joined by Brian Murphy, author of "Flame & Crimson: The History of Sword and Sorcery". Together, they spend time pretending to be Academics, then put the litmus on notoriously bad (and good?) Roger Corman production, "Deathstalker 2: Duel of the Titans"! Because they are, if nothing else, men of culture.

The Rouges sit down to discuss the first four episodes of the much anticipated Wheel of Time TV series, produced by Amazon. Despite regular tangents, Matt, Logan, Deane, and Jason are able hash out their thoughts and opinions on the overall well-produced, though "Basic" take on the Fantasy genre.

Old revelations and new tangents are discovered as the Rogues re-open the pages of "The Witcher" to discuss the newest animated entry in the Netflix franchise, "Nightmare of the Wolf".

The Rogues fall prostrate and bask in the glory of a Deity (or Demigod?) of nerdom, Peter Adkison. Peter discusses his passion project "World of Chaldea", as well as his time with Wizards of the Coast, and the current state of GenCon. Deane mentions StarTrek again, and Logan gushes about Pokemon. The Rogues delve deep into the history and lore of all things Teela...I mean He-Man! Matt gets to gush about his action figures, Deane feels sorry for Cringer, Logan bashes Skeletor, and what's this?? A voice from the past??!!

Howard Andrew Jones joins the Rogues once again on the eve of the release his third installment of the Ringsworn Trilogy, "The Goddess Wakes"! As a bonus, Fafhrd & The Grey Mouser return for new Adventures in "Tales from the Magician's Skull"!
