Episode 32: Memphis Tigers Coach Penny Hardaway says, “This is Memphis. We don’t bluff. We want all the smoke”! The Tigers have the #1 recruiting class in the nation, and are likely done recruiting for the 2019. Sam Mitchell is no longer on the Memphis Tigers coaching staff. Meanwhile, in the NBA the Memphis Grizzlies earned the #2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Murray State point guard Ja Morant is the likely second pick. Is Mike Conley on his way out?
Episode 31 is the Memphis Tigers 2019 Spring Recruiting Period Special edition, and we welcome @AllForMemphis founders James Dale and Barrett Linhoss. We discussed the impact that James Wiseman, DJ Jeffries, Damion Baugh, Boogie Ellis, Malcolm Dandridge, Lester Quinones, and Rayjon Tucker will have on the Tigers program. We provided our predictions on the finals dominoes in the 2019 recruiting class, we dove into why recruits choose Coach Penny Hardaway and his staff, and the positive effect this all factors into an improved non-conference schedule. We briefly stepped away from Tigers basketball to the Grizzlies who landed the #2 pick and walked away as of one of the biggest winners of the 2019 NBA Draft lottery.
