Don’t underestimate your God given faith.
Our faith journey with Jesus is all about connection. Likewise we have to guard against the distractions that cause our faith to disconnect. We look at how both these lessons can be learnt from the story of when Peter walks on the water.
A destination Christian is focused on simply surviving until they reach heaven and tends to miss out on opportunities in the present. In contrast, a Christian on a faith journey holds onto God's promises, lives with hope, and is always ready to give testimony to God's goodness. They weather the storms of life because they are rooted in Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Encourage us to run hard towards the finish line and live a life of focus and determination.
Jesus called his disciples saying “Come follow me“. Answering his call radically changed their lives and it’s still impacting our lives today. Do we really know what it means to follow Jesus?
In life we are presented with many opportunities. Learn how to set yourself up to be ready to walk through the right doors, doors of peace, hope etc.
We want hope, in fact we need it however all of life’s difficulties seem to constantly work against us. Living with a heart full of hope seems unreasonable but yet it is possible.

Can prayer really make a difference? The word of God answers that question with a resounding YES.

Where do we find strength? The world is often chaotic and uncertain but if we look to God, we can find a strength greater than any of the troubles which we may face.
We understand the importance of strong arms and legs but how do we strengthen our faith? We look at this analogy from Hebrews 12:12 A strong faith will give us the stability and endurance to stand strong in life.
