Listen, everyone we have Adebisi Odeleye, successful Social Entrepreneur in Lagos on the show today.  She sent the Global Eco Talk Show her following introduction, "I am Adebisi Odeleye. I am a graduate of  Real Estate from Obafemi Awolowo University. A member of Young African Leader Initiative Network  (YALI) which was created by the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama to empower and create positive impact in the community. I have also been privileged to work with United Nations in the actulization of MDG's  goal with my focus on promoting gender equality and empowering women and eradication of extreme hunger and poverty.  I was recently identify and recognised by the Office of the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as one of few individual impacting the nation through my empowerment program. My desire to empower women in the society made me apply in fashion schools both home and abroad.  As result, I got trained in the art of bead making, first in a Nigerian Fashion School and thereafter I proceeded to Morley College, London (United Kingdom ) to learn beads embroidery.  With this foundation of knowledge, I established BeadsVilla Nigeria, where we create beads for various clientele to suit their specific needs as well as train students that enrol for our classes. Our products include jewelleries, bags, beaded dresses, slippers, patches/applique.   Our organisational policy provides support system for young girls, vulnerable women and children in any way possible...." Olumide Oresegun was born in sep 1981 ,he graduated with distinction in painting from Yaba Tech  in 2006 ,he has won many prestigious painting award including 1st prize award life in my city art festival 2007,pendulum gallery 1st prize award .he also had two successful solo exhibition in 2011 and 2014 respectively at Mydrimgallery  in lagos . he has participated in some group exhibition in Nigeria and Germany.  Olumide experience an unbelievable sensation of neo classical and classical art ,installation art when he visited ARCO 2009 exhibition. The detailing of Peter Paul Reuben mesmerised  him to focus more in pushing realism to the stage of hyper realist by trying to create a barrier between realism and abstraction . He also made some selected portrait commission they include; His Holiness Pope John Paul II, His Holiness Pope John Benedict XVI,  Sir David Osunde, Chief Executive Officer, Koch Nigeria Ltd. He has also made a portrait of the  Chief Executive Officer Kaapafrik group of company and some other board members.

She is the Regional Training Coordinator for Fistolas Limited, a high performance technology company offering training for organisations in Education, and Oil & Gas Industries. The founder of Environmental Girl, a blog focusing on creating awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental issues. She believes every organisation need a clear and well-planned health and safety programme to reduce, illness, accidents, and fatalities at work. Environmental girl aims at providing information, instructions, and trainings on how to be safe at work, as well as focusing on working towards a greener EARTH.  Her educational background is in Engineering with a Masters in Water & Environmental Engineering and Bachelors in Environmental Engineering.

Micah Mbliz Jonah is a musician and won the Volunteer Prize.  Micah-Bliz Joseph Jonah also known as Mbliz is a Nigerian. A Business Administration Undergraduate and he has a certificate in Business Ideas and Entrepreneurship Skills.He is an Entrepreneur, and the forth out of the six children of his parents.He was born and brought up in the south south region of Nigeria(Akwa  Ibom State of Nigeria). His father is a mechanical Engineer & A business man while his mother is a teacher and a business administrator. Because of his love and passion for humanitarian services getting involved wasn't difficult, Sam Edet told him about the SWACIN foundation and  he desired to join. His happiest feelings is having the opportunity to serve the needy. His worst feelings was traveling from Akwa Ibom State to Edo State by Bus because of the bad conditions of the road,The journey took more than 6 hours and he was really stressed. Tetsuo Morita works at IC Net Co. Ltd., and he is specialized in Global Human Resource Development Group, Osaka faculty Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV).  In 2010, he joined IC Net Co. Ltd. He is MBA degree graduated in 2007 from Educational Management in England Leads University. He engaged in teaching Mathematics and Science in Nigeria islands for strengthening project phase 2.  Currently, he serves as the lecturers appointed by JICA in professional business management training. Barrister Pius Madaki, the CRARN Attorney represented CRARN, Child's Rights Rehabilitation Network, when a wealthy evangelist Reverend Helen Ukpabio filed a law suit against CRARN for providing an escape for the children from the abusive deliverance from the churches,.  Reverend Helen Ukpabio is accused of creating a fear through her film, End of the Wicked, which tells in graphic detail how children become possessed. Worst of all, the film uses child-actors to depict scenes of children being inducted into covens, eating human flesh, and bring about destruction in families. Such story has no basis in the bible nor the law itself. She committed serious crimes of killing and abusing innocent people. Thus, SWACIN asks why the law in Nigeria is allowing this to happen and what can be done in Nigeria. Board of Director meeting was held on February 13th (Sat) at Skype at Nigeria 17:00PM, Nigeria 9:00AM Agenda was about cultural values, and some introductions and comments from Mr. Sam Edet and Misa Kojima who are nominated for candidacy to become Board members. We discussed CRARN sponsorship, the orphanage in Eket, Nigeria, and then, the important matter concerning how some board members misunderstood the aim of our organization.  In spite of frequent open discussions to share ideas, we have repeatedly seen actions deviated from main focus to help the poor.  Some were disappointed and left the organization.  Board of Directors are expected to communicate all the time because of frequent obstacles and challenges.  If you come to the Board of Director for expecting employment and demand high salary for it, you would be disappointed, because that is not our focus.  We build projects by communicating each other, as we face many challenges such as Nigerian government's non-responce, a member's fraud and misdeed, etc. Frequently these questions were posted to the board but hardly none came with responses.  That left secretary general to solve the problem all alone regardless she is not on the ground in Nigeria.  If you are solution oriented, and are able to offer solutions--and not creating problems--you will by no means given a paying jobs or contract to start with. For example, Sam Edet requires some payment for filming and editing.  Misa Kojima will be paid for transport and hotel cost to join the seminar.

Nnimmo Bassey is director of an ecological think-tank, Health of Mother Earth Foundation (HOMEF) and Coordinator of Oilwatch International. Bassey has authored books on the environment, architecture and poetry. He was chair of Friends of the Earth International (2008-2012) and Executive Director of Nigeria’s Environmental Rights Action (1993-2013). He was a co-recipient of the 2010 Right Livelihood Award also known as the “Alternative Noble Prize.” In 2012 he received the Rafto Human Rights Award. In 2014 he received Nigeria’s national honour as Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) in recognition of his environmental activism. These children were accused by the church ministers and preachers as causing misfortune in the family.  CARAN has taken these children in the facilities where they are given provisions including food, room and board and education. Sam Itauma, the head of the organization responded to our interview request to tell us about the difficulty they are facing because the donors have recently informed that they will no longer support these children fiancially.  Let us hear from Mr. Itauma, the founder of CRARN what has happened. Keiko Watanabe had rare experience of a sightseeing trip to Nigeria, receiving wonderful impression of Nigerian art and has been creating design, which was awarded in the Art Festibal.  She visited Nigeria as a tourist for the first time.  Originally she is from Kanagawa Prefecture, and graduated from Kanagawa University Department of Architecture, Tokyo Gakugei University graduate school completion.  She is a professional Art director, illustrator, graphic designer. Primary color coordinator (environment).  In 2010, and her art was accepted for the 2011 Aoyama Design Award.  She says she had opportunity to hear from her old friend, Ms. Misa Kojima about the art of Nigeria in 2002, and then traveled to Nigeria including Lagos, Oshobo, and Abeokuta etc. where she had in touch with painting, sculpture, dying, music and architecture.  She was very impressed by various Nigerian arts and life.  Then she entered illustrations of her creation which was produced by the inspiration from Nigerian art and won the prize, "Design Award 2010" in 2010.  The theme was "Search the elements in Life"  She explains, "Human life is made up by any life form."  Misa Kojima...Host of the Show

Kyoko Kamita tells us about her experience in traveling alone and reached Africa 15 years ago.  Since then, she entered Dososhin Travel Agency Co., Ltd. in Tokyo where she has developed projects in Africa, business in Africa, going along with the tour to Africa.   She visited totally 30+ African countries in the past.  Today, she discuss with SWACIN staff to see the potential of "Study Tour" project in Nigeria.  This is to help Japanese youth stay with Nigerian family to experience the living conditions of families in Nigeria.  This is quite a challenge for Japanese youth since most of them don't know how it is like to lack water, gas, electricity and over all infrustracture. Ibeh Bartholomew MSc, Ph.D is the founder of EHMEI, a non-profit organization based in Abuja Nigeria. He discussed the survey result on the Ikpe Ikot Nkon village in Nigeria with our representatives on the ground.  He acknowledges many obstacles in raising fund for Nigeria, especially, the strong prejudice against Nigerians by the international community. He says he needs encouragement, so Eko plays her song she created. Tamae Wakana been taking care of many pregnant women and their families who are nurturing new lives in the land of Hanamaki where many lives were lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake.  Considering that the first stemp toward reconstruction is to bring the smiles back to the affected mothers and children, we launched the activities to bridge the rainbow among mothers and children til now. Currently, the "Mother and Child rainbow bridge" and the "Kamaishi mom House" are functioning as the safe nest for the mother and child, and offering management courses such as various business skills, support and the self-realization of mothers. In addition, the "Rainbow House" and "Baby Home Rainbow" support the mothers by sending infants from 0 to 2 years enabling mothers to employment.  "Hanamaki mom House" "Women Consultation Office" are functioning bodies to provide business consultations centered around the areas such as Kamaishi, Kita-Morioka, Shiwa, Ichinoseki.  Stay tuned!
