In this episode of Still Unbelievable! Matthew reviews another conversion story. This one features Daniel, who is known as Darwin to Jesus on that hive of shitiness formally known as Twitter. Daniel's takes on matters of religion and atheism are bad, so bad that there are many who actually think he's a troll parodying the worst of religion. Our confidence that he is a real Christian is about 90%, the 10% in reserve is because there are times we wonder if he is a very clever troll. We Tell Our Stories - Part 1 In this episode of Still Unbelievable! Andrew and Matthew are joined by David from Skeptics and Seekers for the first in a series of episodes where we will each be telling our stories into and out of Christianity. The first 25 minutes or so of this episode is a catchup of our respective brands and what's been going on in our personal lives, since it has been many months since we last talked together, and then we get into the beginings of our stories. There is a significant chunk discussing Heaven and Hell and how we all, as young children, responded to the christian teaching we received. We also get very quickly into the trauma of childhood fear of god. So if those subjects are likely to remind you of your own traumas, please do be aware of what is coming. Our past traumas are laid bare and exposed to draw attention to the harm that Christianity continues to inflict. And then as we draw to a close, we give some further thoughts on the future of Still Unbelievable! We have no idea how many episodes it will take to tell our stories, and we invite feedback on any aspect.
