Continuing our Resilience series, Pastor Fru encourages us to realise that our resilience is not built up in order to make us cosy and comfortable. But we need to courageous, particularly in our interactions with other people. Jesus commissioned us to go into the world...
When it comes to resilience - Forgiveness is a superpower! We deal with our hurts and troubles by forgiving those responsible.  We forgive because we have been forgiven so much. Pastor Adam reminds us that Forgiveness is not fair, but it is just.
When life sucks and trouble comes down on you, how are you going to cope? How will you 'stand'? How will you remain resilient? Scientists tell us that one of the important elements we need to place in our lives in order for us to have resilience is 'One stable, caring and supportive relationship'. In this message, Campus Pastor Fru Bird, encourages us to make God our number one relationship...in all areas of our lives.
In this world we will face trouble - and plenty of it! How can we build resilience into our lives to help us to get through the tough times? In this message, Adam encourages us to imagine what our lives would be like if we had complete and utter confidence in God and his plans for us. We need to 'find hope' as an anchor for our soul...
Sometimes life just sucks! But, when disaster hits and trouble comes, it IS possible for us to be fruitful. We don't just have to get through it and merely survive, we can actually thrive. The bible tells us that we are MORE than conquerors when it comes to the troubles of life. In this second part of our 'Resilience' series, Campus Pastor Adam Bird gives us some lessons from the life of Joseph.
Jesus said the following words: "In this world you will have trouble..." Real life (even the Christian life!) is not a life free from trouble or hardship. However, there are things we can put in place to make us more resilient when the storms come.
In this final part of our Dream Builders series, Dom looks at the various cost implications of having and pursuing a dream. When we pursue a God given dream - not only does the dream become reality, the dream builds us into a better, more blessed people.
Continuing our Dream Builders series, Lead Pastor Dom Bird takes us through chapter 3 of Nehemiah. Listing all the people and groups of people involved in rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem. The challenge for us is to be people who get stuck in, working side by side with the others in our church to fulfil the vision God has given us. We will flourish when we are planted in the church - moving towards the core rather than remaining on the fringe.
Continuing the Dream Builders series, Pastor Dom teaches about the power of prayer. Just like Nehemiah, we should make it our first response and not our last resort.
In this first message of our new Dream Builders series, Lead Pastor Dom Bird looks at the importance of dreams and visions in our daily lives. Our future, and the future of The Church depends on us being able to imagine a different and better destiny.
Paul writing to the church in Philippi encourages the believers to be 'anxious for nothing but pray about everything'. What does this mean for us at the start of a new year? Can we live without anxiety and fear? In this message, Campus Pastor Adam Bird encourages us to talk to God more, experience His incomprehensible peace and get a clarity of mindset that we've never experienced before.
Continuing our Song for Christmas series, Campus Pastor Adam Bird looks at the carol 'Silent Night' and discovers the pinnacle of faith in Mary's response to the Angel - 'I am the Lord's servant, may it be to me according to your Word'.
Continuing our December series looking at well-loved Christmas songs and carols, Campus Pastor Fru Bird looks at the little town of Bethlehem (as told in the Nativity) and explores the principles and promises of God who calls the extraordinary out of the ordinary.
Songs and carols play such an important part of the Christmas Celebrations. Often we sing the same old songs we have been singing all our lives without really thinking about the message behind the song. Kicking off this special December series, Campus Pastor Adam Bird looks at the carol 'We Three Kings' and explores the personal nature of an encounter with the saviour.
In this final message from the "Fresh Air" series, Campus Pastor Adam Bird encourages us to believe that 'There's More...' than we know when it comes to the Holy Spirit. When we are living 'filled with the Holy Spirit' we are making the most of the advantage that the Holy Spirit gives us.
Powerlessness is a massive problem!  But there is hope - there is one strategy - only one -that solves the problem of powerlessness every time.  It is the person of the Holy Spirit.  Campus Pastor Fru Bird continues our 'Fresh Air' series, encouraging us to encounter and walk daily with the Holy Spirit.

We don't have to wait to be the church we are called to be. We can become God's planned church today! Jesus will build HIS church but he's given all of us a part to play. In this final message of this series, Campus Pastor Adam Bird encourages us to be intentional about fulfilling our purpose. "Who knows but God has called us for such a time as this."
