you people talking shit about reggie are idiots. reggie watts is such an intelligent man. joe and reggie are both smart as fuck, but they didnt really disagree on a thing, because they're both super intelligent. I find it ironic that most of the comments trying to bash reggie end with 'trump 2020' too. Is there any reason other than racism for trump voters to be talking down about a black man 50 times more talented, and probably a million times more intelligent than them?

Krystal is my crush...

I just want to preface this by saying I have a lot of friends that are officers and I myself am a prior Army Infantryman. I found myself agreeing with Krystal a lot in this podcast. Calling in military assets incites more hatred and escalates the situation, and given from what we've seen in Minneapolis ,with officers firing at people on their porch, I have almost zero confidence more troops are going to solve the problem. Within the last few podcasts even Joe has described in his own story this "us versus them mentality." Coupled with talking about cults and how vulnerable people are susceptible to indoctrination. Soldiers are deeply indoctrinated and rooted in the "us versus them" mentality with them being the enemy. Who are they to question their orders when their superiors say that we, the American citizens, are the enemy? Also, there is anecdotal evidence throughout history that deploying soldiers into cities increases lawlessness and corruption from every angle and that gaining the control of your own men during these ordeals is next to impossible. So, to answer Joe's question of, "How do you stop the rioters and looters?" It's simple. You stop the protests. Not by force but by peaceful dialogue. In only a handful of instances have we seen officers march with protesters. Why don't more departments and police chiefs hold up their own signs detailing justice for Floyd and we need change? Walk over to the protesting side and explain to them you share their voice. Open a dialogue, listen, and be that catalyst for change. Explain to them that protesting on the street is a veil for looters and rioters seeking to diminish the message these protesters are trying to convey and that by doing so they spread the department's resources thin. Explain to them that the message must live on with complete and full support of thier police department but the means in which they convey and voice that message has to change. This whole situation is frustrating because I too want change but I see both sides going about it completely wrong.
