This is a documentation of feeling slightly overwhelmed and maybe a bit vulnerable (yes I said it). The vital moment in the 'creative process' where it's not as fun as I thought it would be, realising that, in a few days/weeks times, all will be better. In fact, this is probably the moment one can learn the most. But that doesn't necessarily make it more fun... Practising what I'd like to preach, I'm taking action and I'm sharing it. It'll all make sense one day, hopefully soon!

Preparing for the final week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019. Kirsten Brown and I discuss our experience so far. Excited to end the last week with a bang, we might also be slightly ready to go home..

The start of a full month of Fringe performances. I’m doing a show called OUR MUMS WOULDN’T WATCH THIS together with Kirsten Brown and Chris Sav. We each perform our 20 minute set, based on why our mums wouldn’t watch this show. In this episode we talk about some of the worst fringe venues, how to get an audience in and when to give up. In 2009 The Nursery Theatre produced its first festival. After nearly 10 years - this is my experience of how it started, what we created and our time inside the Arch of SE1. Reminisce. Special thanks to Jules Munns, Judith Amenga and all the wonderful people we were lucky enough to work with.

The Caravan Theatre serves as a small portable venue and can seat up to 10 people at a time. We bring various evocative, humorous, intriguing 15/20 minute plays to festivals and unexpected locations. The portable theatre was created in 2015 and designed by Rosa Sijben. This is the story of how it all started and what it will hopefully bring to the near future as part of an upcoming partnership with Small Truth Theatre. A portable bundle of joy with an incredible amount of collaborators to thank.
