This week, we look at patience. We explore what patience is rooted in, why we struggle to be patient, what our deepest desires are and how our inability to fulfill such desires leads to a lack of patience. In the end, we return to the fact that all the fruits of the Spirit are rooted in our relationship with God and discover that true patience can only come out of that relationship.

In this sermon, we explore Matthew 6:1-4. Jesus tells us not to do things in order to be seen and rewarded by other people. We explore what Jesus means by hypocrisy, why seeking rewards from other people is so dangerous, and how we can be the type of people whose "giving may be in secret."
