It was rather interesting. An avid reader of books since practically in the womb, novels like Taylor Caldwell's "Captains and the Kings" expanded my outlook on how the world probably works at a young age, portraying the planet as ruled by a secret, shady elite class who control the media, resources, educational institutions, foriegn policies, and populations. For those who think it's all bullshit, or this kind of exploration veers away from your personal or political beliefs, I can understand your points of view. It kind of sat on the desk for a minute, and today I threw it in the car stereo to give a listen. BAM "This Fucking Shreds! Who Are These Guys?" The CD was sent by Byzantine Frontman Chris Ojeda. Byzantine disbanded in 2008, but Chris had put together a project of cover tunes, kickass thrash metal that got him through his "formative years" from 1986-1990 (which is coincidentally the album's title) "Black Cap Miner - The Formative Years" features Chris Ojeda on vocals, rhythm & bass guitars, guest guitarists provide absolutely sick fretwork while ripping out tunes from bands like "Kreator - Annhiliator - Megadeth" and more.
