On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Christian from The Amatory Murder. Pipeman begins by speaking about the #MakeChesterProud event which The Amatory Murder played at, something which Pipeman is very proud of. They touch on the importance of mental health and checking in on your friends because you never know who is struggling. On a more positive note, Christian describes the band’s sound as alternative rock, likening it to Muse, Nine Inch Nails and Pink Floyd and shares some of their upcoming dates for the following couple of months. Pipeman then asks about Christian’s aha moment, which he puts down to the death of his father and playing with one of his idols bringing him back to happiness after that traumatic event. On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman sits down with Chris from Trauma, someone who Pipeman went to see play live after Slayer and Metallica moved to the bay area and Trauma stayed in the real Thrash scene, although he doesn’t remember much of it! Chris touches on what it was like losing their lead vocalist Donnie after he passed away last year and how their new vocalist Brian has come in been great to work with. Chris reveals they are working on music now which he describes as a lot faster and more aggressive and that they feel like a completely different band now. The bad news is the music won’t be out until January at the earliest but the good news is they will be doing a ton of dates all around Europe. Michael talks about the album, explaining his relationship with legendary guitarist Gary Richrath. The title track was actually a song they had recorded together but had never released before.
